      There were 2 copies, one at each outlet of the bookstore. So I basically wasted 4 hours or so travelling to both the outlets, only to have 2 random people buy it before me ;-;

    You're only supposed to place version.dll inside the folder, not everything. That might be the cause? The error also has lots of question marks, which I assume is because you're not in Japanese locale? Maybe try changing it to see if it helps? You need Japanese locale if you torrent School Days, btw.

    About the JAST version, I heard that you need to change your system locale to English (US) for it to work. Not sure if it'll work, but it's worth a shot. I'm not sure about that, but better be safe than sorry I guess. If the installer still freezes, you can try out the method from someone in the hongfire forums. Whoops, my bad.     For the problem with My Girlfriend is the President, download and extract this. Then simple copy version.dll into the game folder and you should be set. EDIT: Also regarding the school days torrent, what happens when you mount disc 2? When it prompts for disc 2, you simply have to mount disc2.iso and the installation should continue by itself.

    No problem. Also do check if you can save and load in the game properly in case you have a copy with the old data.xp3 file, which causes problems with saving.

    That I'm not sure since I don't have the game, but if it fixes the problem then you'll just have to mount it.

    You should have a .bin and .cue file when you downloaded the game. Simply mount the .cue with something like Daemon Tools Lite. After it mounts, install the game. Once installed, locate the folder (default should be Programs (x86) -> NEKOMARUDOW -> Neko20 -> Neko20) and use YANDERE.exe to run the game.

    It would help if you mention the name of the game and what caused the error message appear.

    Try using this SiglusEngine.exe to run the game instead of the one you're currently using.
