(But shoujo is still great anyway) School Days spoilers And no, I did not get that ending ever. I was always faithful to one heroine, thank you very much! Before FuwaReviews came and really advertised Makoto in a bad light I played this game... Since I'm a faithful lad I never really thought Makoto was all that bad of a protagonist, until I started getting more and more endings. Geez, this guy can be really really mean if you make him so. This. Yeah, I remember when I started watching this. This is great yeah, though there is, as you say, some weird drama, to the point I ended up putting it on hold after one of the routes and leaving it to gather dust as I failed to recall why I dropped it and got scared. These are good points, yes... I've been reading a manga (which made me make this thread, actually) titled Suzuka. And it turns out the protagonist's dearly loved by... not Suzuka, since that might as well be her name. And he decides to date not Suzuka. And then... he breaks up with not Suzuka and aims for Suzuka once again. Spoiler alert. Gosh was I surprised by this turn of events in my Suzuka manga.

That all said, out of all the conflict-filled situations, Love Triangles are still the one I hate most. Along with the stupid misunderstandings because two human beings can never communicate properly that arise because a person is always on the wrong place at the wrong time, ready to eavesdrop something that will make them misunderstand.

Simply put, I absolutely abhor these things, and I'd like to hear your all important opinion on this matter. I don't think they'll ever go away, so I won't delude myself with false hope, but I still dislike how there's a love triangle pretty much everywhere with romance. And if not, some kind of harem instead. What do you think of Love Triangles? Do you think they really flesh out and bring out drama and character personalities? Or do you think it serves only to bring some stupid heartbreaks and classify the protagonist as indecisive scum? Regarding the choices, I am obviously more oriented toward the male protagonists, but it doesn't change much if it's a girl who just happens to have the most handsome men in the country converge near her. And what do you mean by "The choices are biased"?! Additionally, if you happen to know any good romance's where this doesn't happen, who am I to object? ;D (I apologize if these exist in great quantity, it just so happens that I am unfortunately ignorant of them).

I am seriously considering rereading Umineko (it was, like, my 3rd or 4th VN, which I read at a time where I wasn't as much "reading" as I was having my eyes go through a bunch of letters) with proper attention to detail and lots of "analyzing" (because my analyzing consists of me taking random notes on my stupid thoughts).

For example, in the round where I paired up with Cyr, I intended to partner with her in order to stop the betrayers from winning anything and getting them to ally, but I think my proposal went right over her head. For example, not once have I objected to a partner suggesting we betray. I give them the options and my opinion. And so they always choose to ally. For example, I did not participate in the voting during this last game, and I paired up with some people who didn't vote either. On the off-chance our opponent didn't vote, the three of use would have been penalized.

You talk as if I know what the bloody hell I want. I have no idea. There's too much embarrassment at the thought of me watching this kind of thing. Using a peashooter to shoot a mint and it turns into a super dragonball of fire? They make monstrous looking faces and epic fight music plays during stupid little things? I guess I really can't spend hours of my currently limited watchingthis.
