  1. We heard about the girls dorm. I would like to find out more about it. To that end, what should I do? Perhaps I would have better luck getting to know my classmates at school and asking them. Head to sleep.
  2. Watching InuYasha - I fear I will spend the next few months watching this, but oh well. Out of the 8 lowly episodes I've watched I can say I have no complaints.
  3. Say, "Well then, have a safe trip. And I just noticed but that's an awfully long tie this uniform has..."
  4. PC Masterace, a mouse and a keyboard is all I need. (A functional PC is kinda useful too)
  5. Just stick to the friends.
  6. I'd be more invested into the gaming world which I withdrew from to be able to spend more time on VN's. ...Which is a pretty nice thing to fall back on when literally every translated VN which is worth my time has been read by me.
  7. Eclipsed, FinalChaos; I am expecting you to be gentlemen this round. While I am very very afraid (I do not truly trust you, my apologies) I will still be allying this round, contrary to my initial plan of telling you guys to betray. I'm hoping that you make good use of the trust I am placing in thee. (Actually, did I just get put against the troublesome children? Hahaha... )
  8. May the games commence.
  9. Do you mean to say that the two games we've played will count toward the 5 game goal? ...I wasn't actually counting on that.... The gamemaster's changing rules mid-game, of course I'm bollocksed -_-
  10. One option, as you're both discussing, is that the people on the waiting list use their vote to make Tiago betray. While this would incite some distrust towards Tiago, people have pretty much figured out that he always allys, so they would quickly realize it was a changed vote. However, if they were to change FinalChaos and SoulJustIn's vote to betray, that would be a lot more believable to others since FinalChaos has betrayed in the past, and it would prevent Tiago (who is already in the lead) from winning another game. By choosing this option, those in the waiting list can create more distrust between the players and benefit themselves by reducing Tiago's lead; thus giving them more chances to play the game and win themselves. Now that's what I call killing two birds with one stone. Which is where some way with words should be had... For example, publicly announcing the opposite of what you're intending to vote while betting that the sorrowful people take the bait - a risky move, certainly, but a possibility. The most likely outcome is that the vote change will be used during the second or last game, targeting those in the lead, which should for that very reason be wary. In fact, this is all the more reason to avoid betraying and getting a lead over the others. Though someone will be sacrificed and have their vote changed at the end -_-
  11. Which is why I've spent two games cultivating into their heads that I intend to ally to the bitter end.
  12. Please note that more than one person can win. This is the most important thing, gents. I don't understand how those on the waiting list can cooperate to change a vote, with no knowledge of what this vote is or what other members are doing. I think I understand. To provide an example, they could choose to change someone's vote, but they wouldn't ever know if it was "ally" or "betray", they just change it.
  13. rate-it-properly/10
  14. 8/10 I actually find it rather cute altogether.
  15. For something as petty as revenge, Kosaki...? Why did you involve Shikomizue-san in your petty squabbles? For goodness' sake... Well, again I reach the end without betraying. Again I show everyone the optimal strategy! How many times do I need to open the number 9 door for you guys to understand that there's nothing boring to making a bunch of internet people looking for interesting games constantly ally? Why don't you just take the logical approach, people? I've been advertising this for countless rounds now! Finally someone who understands. Well, with the completion of this game, I'd like to quickly register for the next one, even though I fear you will do everything in your capacity to ruin my gameplay strategy.
  16. I am, I am, don't worry. Nearly finished as well. That Nekoko's route is really annoying...
  17. My name is actually Tiago... *ahem* But I'm already used to this.
  18. Please explain what this means.
  19. Well, I don't necessarily have a prejudice against him, but I did find it funny that every time I drop a VN I later find out he had something to do with it ;P Some people get a kick out of getting sad or depressed over this kind of story. Would you look at that, I don't. What you say is reasonable, and given Key's record I am fully prepared to finish it, because being sad doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. It's just that I heard some things which led me to conclude that the end can't exactly be considered good. And again, what you say is reasonable. I tend to enjoy the worst crap so long as it's got some kind of comedy. That's how I got through shuffle. I just didn't find Cross Channel pleasant in any meaningful way which let me get through the initial drag. Alright, like I was told before Cross Channel gets better as it goes, I really have to give it a retry. I got through that ending alive, all that I've really got left is Nekoko's and I really need to get to it, so I can get on Nosebleed's good side. Well, it seems you enjoyed the sister's routes, which were my main fear... "I can't really say anything" - and yet here you are! Oh, the intricacies of life, how funny.
  20. As soon as someone reaches 9 BP the game ends. Those with 9 or more BP will win, everyone else will be left behind.
  21. You know that if you haven't completed it it kinda beats the purpose right? After all, I've played through a good chunk of Air and the only reason I won't finish it is because I fear the ending, and I've played through nearly all of Rewrite except the very final route. Telling me the part before that is good is kinda useless, you know?
  22. So cool. How didn't I think of that?! I guess my title is not all that accurate, is it? I don't actually wish for recommendations, I just want to more or less decide which VN's I should drop for good or which are still worth it.
  23. This one's going to be a bit weird, but try to bear with it. This poll has various games I attempted to play but for some reason or another stopped. I'll tell you the reasons and I'm hoping you may tell me if even so you would still recommend it to me. You may vote on how many you want, if you feel they are still worth it. Air I am afraid of a sad ending and stalled it because of that. I am currently missing Toono Minagi's route and I believe there is still a "True" route after that? Cross Channel I have been told it's really interesting and intricate and whatever else. I attempted to start this but I was bored to death within the first hour, dropping it then. Is the story still worth it after the start? Da Capo II It's more or less boring, and some of the routes I've played are really disappointing (Koko). The only ones I'm still missing are Amakase Minatsu, the Sisters and Sakura. In the original game I hated the sister route: Would this game be better in this respect, in your opinion? Eien no Aselia I played it through once, it was Aselia's route. I very much enjoyed it but I don't think I'm willing to spend hours going through the gameplay parts again just to see the other routes. Even so, would it still be worth it? Killer Queen I liked the first route so much that I didn't start the second, having heard it would be different, more serious and depressing. Is it really? Rewrite I am still missing the Terra route. I dropped it at the beginning because it was boring me to death (I may have something against Romeo Tanaka's writting - I/O and Cross Channel bore me to death). Swan Song - Mind the Spoilers I reached an H-Scene. It went so well I absolutely loved everything just then. But I think this kind of game holds a more depressing future and I'm too scared to progress. Just how bad it it? Yume Miru Kusuri Would you recommend this one over the others? There's actually no problem with me playing this one.
