And so I finish Al Fine. Torta's route and Al Fine

I'll be honest... It'll take me a while until I gather the courage to write my first message, but when I do everything should be fine.

My first reading session of Al Fine is finished. Here are some thoughts I wrote as I played. Most of them were made right after the initial revelation.

Then how about when the rules themselves don't make sense in the first place? They're usually revised in these occasions. Explain to me how the width ruins anything.

I'll talk in detail about Torta's route tomorrow morning. In the meanwhile, have the random notes I made as I played.

And I had refrained from commenting and everything... While I would prefer if a certain other person was in that emoticon... I believe it still has many uses! I also don't consider your excuse to be good enough! Width is hardly a factor here, be honest now. And what's the problem with loads of emoticons? It's not like anyone ever uses or or anyways and they haven't been removed.

Sharin no Kuni relies on some shady twists I'm not so sure you can reproduce in an anime, right?

Fal and Lise's Route

It is as you say. Those less assertive than yourself will always make you act more assertive with them. (Though sometimes it just doesn't click. I remember a colleague I once had who was very shy, and so was I. Since neither of use ever started conversations we spent 3 years without talking much at all - completely different from my partner at the moment, who didn't stop until she broke through my shell) Lise's Route The courting thing really has to do with the characters and... I dunno, maybe his girlfriend? Fal, Lise and Torta's Route (no, I haven't actually finished Torta yet, right at the start so no spoilers) As for doing this kind of thing. I really like it. When I read VN's I usually finish them before posting on the forums, but I find that is a bad idea, since I tend to forget my initial impressions or just most of the story. This was the first VN I actually started from the start and could afford to do a per route analysis; go as you play.

Ah~, finished Lise's route. Maybe I'll bother with bad ends one of these days, but not for now. Not as many inspiring thoughts this time. No philosophies or anything... Lise's Route Lise and Fal's Routes The "we'll never know"'s are parts where theories are most welcome if you do have any. I didn't like this route as much as the last one. Though I much prefer Lise over Fal. I don't like the antagonist. I prefer when they have proper motives for being cruel than when they're just cruel for the heck of it. Perhaps more backstory will come later, who knows? If this was indeed the case it was done in such a way as to leave me completely confused, as you can see by my comments on both routes. There are ways to get on the nerves of people without seeming like your doing so on purpose. I remember at school and when I first started my job. People didn't really know me so I just walked around with a deadpan face and it seemed like I didn't ever find anything funny. Gave me free reign to do and say whatever I wanted without being suspected of ill-intent.

That's what happened to me with Fal's song, which I really, really hate. Enjoy Lise's route you two! Taking care of it. Let it be known that Fal has contaminated my senses and I know only see bad sides in everything. Cannot simply not suspect Lise at this point. And Fal's involvement at the begging certainly didn't help making me feel no ploys were at bay.

Posting thoughts and having people comment is fine with me. Filling a page with spoilers or discussion is not. I would prefer if they were just split into a new topic or moved to the appropriate place. Way too popular refers to how everyone uses this thread for discussion, instead of trying to use something else. I will admit the wording was more than inaccurate on that one.

I believe Rooke is the official "Deputy Downer", try to respect the ranks a little. Come on. In a slightly more serious mood I feel the same. Though I can't honestly come up with any logical reason as to why.

I recommend these posts all get moved out or nuked so as to not clutter the precious thread, but I cannot simply watch by on on this issue. I absolutely believe that Rin is mostly right on this point. (disregarding the fact that the sentence he formed can hardly be called that; no capitals, no full stops but more importantly, no "I'm playing" which has actually made me report his posts before as I had no idea what he was talking about and couldn't hazard a guess) People just have these endless discussions on this topic. I remember there were pages filled with spoilers. Isn't that just ridiculous? I think this thread is way to popular. Why not use appropriate threads for discussion? But I wonder if it's just me...

Sarcasm is what I believe one of the most straight-forward ways to make a point. I simply cannot understand why people take issue with it. Personally I'm just delighted people can continue to find issues with everything. If you don't mind the lack of H content, then you mind the kickstarter itself. Just continue waiting for that one holy project that will eventually arrive and fulfill your wildest dreams and expectations. Now excuse me while I go pay for my three VN's.
