  1. That's a good point. Alright, I'll retract my statement on that.
  2. Well, the only plot hole that comes to mind is the Grandfather Paradox that is infamously difficult to wrap your mind around. I myself only have a gross understanding of quantum theory, so it's kinda difficult for me to come up with better arguments in regard to the plot holes in Steins;Gate. But what I'm trying to get at is that there isn't a single person in this thread (unless there's someone with formal education on the matter) who is qualified to say anything in regards to the plot of Steins;Gate. Quantum mechanics is very weird and anti-intuitive, so you really can't measure a time travel story by standard logic.
  3. But there aren't any plot holes. When it comes to time travel, it is literally impossible (at this point in time) to create a plot hole. Why? Because it is impossible to create a paradox by time traveling. Physicists reveal how the universe guarantees paradox-free time travel Like I said, it's a pointless debate.
  4. I've been interested in trying Earthbound myself. It's very frequently talked about in Undertale discussions, and one of my friends even goes so far as to call UT a tribute to EB. Toby Fox, the creator of UT, made a really good song for an EB fan album too.
  5. Not real science, but a scientific event is the central theme to the story. Are you familiar with John Titor and the IBM 5100 by any chance? http://www.johntitor.com/Pages/5100.html
  6. One of the most pointless things you can argue about in Steins;Gate is plot holes. No matter how you try to look at it, everything is justified. "I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics." -Richard Feynman For a time travel story, I thought it was really neat. Yeah, sure, the writers definitely took full advantage of the liberties that come with writing a time travel story, but at least they included some actual documented research to solidify the anime as a science fiction work.
  7. This is why you never trust 3D girls.
  8. And now Kenka Bancho's ahead by 1%! When those otome fans fight for something, they fight pretty hard, lol.
  9. Not sure who the other girl is, but I like this. http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=9685977
  10. Would not be a proper romance recommendation thread without a mention of Eureka Seven. I personally consider this the best romance series in anime, and it's my 2nd favorite romance story in any medium (with Lucia's route in Rewrite taking 1st). The protagonist does start off a little whiny at the beginning, but he does go through some intense development as the show progresses. The story is very interesting too, and ties in with the romance in a unique and interesting way. Unfortunately, the plot isn't resolved at the end, but the romance is still very satisfying. Whatever you do, though, don't watch the sequel afterwards. It's pretty bad, lol.
  11. I've picked ReLIFE back up after having it on hold for some time. Oh man, if I had known the feels I was in for in the later chapters, I wouldn't have put it down as soon as I did. The character development is fantastic. Kaizaki's trolling is pretty damn good too.
  12. I don't think that's something you want to be impressed with, lol. These devs are going for the quantity over quality approach when producing these games, and I'm pretty sure the speed at which these games are released has more to do with their undeserved budget than anything else.
  13. Did I ever tell you the story about how I let a Chinese guy convince me to say "I love you" to the girl I had a crush on? Good times~
  14. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it yet. It's from Re:Zero. Although it might as well go under a different title at this point.
  15. Turning things around a little, lol.
  16. Nyahooooo~ Time for your medication!
  17. I don't think I've ever watched a JC Staff anime that didn't have at least one good song I could appreciate. This is one especially great.

  19. What manga is this?
  20. Confession: I started taking St. John's Wort today and I have not once been in a dreary mood. I gotta tell you, this feels weird as hell, lol.
  21. Pretty cool. 7/10
  22. Sorry to say this, guys, but I'm not gonna be active for about a week. My wrist is getting pretty bad, and I'll have to wear a stilt for a week. My recovery probably won't be that good if I keep taking it off to type. The pain is only on my left wrist, so I can still use my mouse freely to browse the forums. That's pretty much it though.

I have typed this using only my left hand. You can do it! Yeah! Your main hand is even the right one, right? You'll be just fine! Go on! Type to your heart's content!

I suppose I can type brief messages, but not the walls of text I like to type. Maybe I'll keep posting in the more casual threads. :P
