    I've watched only the first episode, and it was very very bad in comparison with the VN. though I don't know how I would've felt toward it if I didn't read the VN before. but really, nope. the first episode alone skipped hours. I don't know about Rewrite, but Little Busters was more friendship focused.

    PLEASE DON't THINK OF WATCHING UMINEKO'S ANIME anyone reading this, listen to me ( and I don't even hate Deen, they have a history with great works ). I've watched only the first episode, and they covered... like.. 4-5 hours from the first chapter in the VN ??? it is a crime they adopted only the "events" of the game, but without the building process, there no value at all to those "events". lets say ( just an example ) that character X commited suicide, if you don't know anything about character X, why should you care ? there is no development. also, the VN matches the beautiful music with its scenes perfectly, to create the atmosphere of the story. the anime also lacks this.

    I've finished Danganronpa! at first I didn't like the game much ( there was a lot of illogical points ), but the game kept getting better until the end. though I've guessed the game's main twist, I didn't figure the identity of the mastermind. I think this writer is talented, I can see the second game develop into a much better experience.

    its not "popular" yet, but yeah.. it is spreading for sure : P slowly but surely. I'm surprised myself to see you guys, lol.

    you are not the only ones, guys. we even discuss visual novels on an Arabic forum. anyway, to answer the question, yes I have friends playing visual novels, but not many. most of them prefer the novel to have gameplay, but others don't care and just want to read a good story.

    I think it won't work, the budget is probably too high for a kickstarter campaign.

    not really, both games are liked about the same, they even got the same user score on metacritic. things don't always work ideally. sometimes you provide a great product and it still fails commercially. for me, VLR was clearly better than 999 in every way possible ( except the ending ), but... it doesn't matter which one is better, both offered very high quality for sure.

    yes, if 999 didn't succeed we wouldn't have gotten VLR. it wasn't a "series" from the start.

    I'm sooo glad to see more people play G-Senjou, I can't express how much I like this novel. the story, the music... everything : ( it is : ) I'm reading chapter 3, this may turn out to be my favorite vn ever. edit: Congratulations, Zenophilious.

    I'm playing Danganronpa + 3rd episode of Umineko. hmmmm, I don't know if its me or not, but I felt that Danganronpa's start was a little rushed ? I think the ... "motive" wasn't convincing enough to commit such an act, and .

    I didn't like it much to be honest. there is some charm in it, but there is also some weaknesses.

    I think its better than any vn I've played before, including Ever 17 o_O the strongest point is the building process, and how much characters develop, it feels like a great novel to me. the art style is very unique to me, loot at Natsuhi's design for example, she looks really like a high class lady.

    I'm reading the second episode of Umineko... wow, what a great story. it may turn out to be the best vn I've ever read *_* how far will this tale go ??? and.. what a great music o_O there is too many things I want to talk about... but... later! after I finish the first 4 episodes at least.

    I didn't read Little Busters, but Refrain anime wasn't that good in my opinion ( felt rushed and wasn't as affective as I expected it to be ), I think that the VN experience will be far superior.

    Remember 11 it doesn't Involve memory loss directly, but I think it is really interesting and informative.

    thanx the game is long, not because it is over written like many other works, but because it is rich and very detailed. I'm already listening to Hope all the day lol

    I'm playing Umineko, wow.. what a great game o_O I'm still reading the first episode but the game really exceeded my expectations, it is very dynamic, and you always learn something new about the characters or the world of the game. also, great music!
