I use it just about all the time, because clicking with my mouse or enter makes too much noise for me to enjoy the story. And then there is Ef, my current visual novel. If I am not on auto mode, I use the enter key to progress the text, but that is right below the backspace key... which I click far too often... crashing my game.

Ahh I thought that way about far too many visual novels, only to be captured by their amazing stories. Boxes.

hmmm.... Windows 8 you say? Have you updated to 8.1? most visual novels will not work with 8, but will work with 8.1. also, if you can, try another download source, as the file may be corrupt or missing something

It might be difficult to do, but if it can happen then sure, I'm down for statistics.

That is what I used to and continue to do so today. Though, the list of translated visual novels on that list are dwindling. Grisaia is a comedy? i can kinda see it, but i don't want to hear too much about visual novels before I start them, as I want to get hooked by the Narration, not a summery.

I consider myself a fast reader, but my schedule doesn't let me sit down and enjoy things. and now all I can say is that Grisaia no Kajitsu is my next visual novel. Then Shikkoku, and maybe I will finish Heaven's feel then.

I gotta finish Ef first, and I'm loving that so far. How long is the common route?

...I'm hearing a lot about how it is awesome so... I may or may not skip past my backlog of Shikkoku and F/SN for it depending on my whims.
