I sometimes like sex scenes being included, as they might help deepen the bond between the characters. I believe that Katawa Shoujo for example, is definitely better with the h-scenes in general. While I didn't really cared about the one with Shizune, since I didn't really felt any big meaning in it nor it was anything specially well-written or visually appealing, I simply loved one of Lilys scenes. That surely made me give KS more points than I would otherwise, even if the other ones weren't that good for me. It's not always, but sometimes it's possible to find some legit h-scenes out there, which enough for me to support their existence. Unfortunately, I already voted on the first question, so I won't be able to vote for the "mixed impact" option. What? You are aware that you are the huge minority who literally hates and despises h-scenes, right? If so, I think it's understandable for you that the writers might actually be the ones who chose to make them, as the "perverts" as you say, are the overwhelming majority in this world. I'm not an expert when it comes to VN writers, but I believe it's very likely that many of them choose out of free will to add h-scenes to their works.

I think it'll be Tsukihime and Sekien no Inganock in the end, as they're pretty ahead on the votes. Sekien is pretty much overwhelming Shikkoku actually. I'll leave the pool open for a bit longer, even if the winners seem to be decided already. I kinda understand the visual part since it's pretty old, so I'm aware the art ain't marvelous. When you say audio problems, do you mean the OST ain't good or what? I/O actually seems to have the most interesting plot out of them all, or at least the one with more mystery.

I'm going on vacation trip for two months by the end of this week, so I figured I could read some VNs while not walking around and doing tourist stuff. Since I just finished both Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero, I'm currently in the mood for something with action in general. I have some options in mind but I just can't decide, as I'm equally interested in all of them. I'm also not exactly sure of how much time I'll have to sit down and read, hence why I want to have one long and one medium. For the long ones, I have Tsukihime, Rose Guns Days, I/O and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. For the medium ones, Shikkoku no Sharnoth and Sekien no Inganock have both caught my attention a while ago. It's hard to answer this since it relies a lot on how the game goes. Sometimes things get just boring and pointless, but if it's used to get a deeper understanding and/or development of a character, as well as expanding the novel universe, then it can be good. Taking Cross Channel as an example, you get days looping over and over again, you basically start reading the same thing you just read but that is an important part of the immersion the game brings you. Now, I think F/SN had a lot of moments when I really wanted to just skip to get to the good parts, because honestly, I got bored of reading it when too many times.

We got more than half the questions answered! This is when things get interesting. Are people saving their answers to send them all at once? Is someone already with 50 answers ready? Is the weirdo who spent over six hours straight to get the 36 answers (as of November 30th) still planning to go at it and win before anyone has a chance? Step it up, boys! It might be over before you even take notice.

I just finished Fate/Zero with the original voices, but I watched a few scenes with the english dub and it was also really good. I am yet to watch a whole anime in english, but I think F/Z is the best one I have taken notice so far.

Since a few days have passed, I'll give you guys a few hints. I'll probably give more from time to time, but don't just expect to get everything from them. Michiru Tier - Don't get intimidated by the questions, most of the answers are early in the game making them easy to find. Also, searching in the internet may not be a bad idea for this tier. This one is meant to be easy, and you'll probably feel weird for not remembering some of the answers after you find them. All questions - For any question regarding an unnamed character, even if he didn't properly got named, as long as he/she had a line, there was a way to call them. Be it old man, man or even man 1. For those kinds of questions where you are to name someone, do it just like the game did. 11 - Remember, a flashback scene refers to a scene like Angelic Howl or ones that we have the dialogue or narrative happening in the present tense. A scene where a character talks about something that happened in the past, even if for longer than not, is not considered a flashback. This is the question that most people got wrong so far, literally 100% of the participants, actually. 46 - More than one person came to me asking about Kyoko. Basically, she never actually made an appearance, she was only mentioned, that hint goes for both of them. I can't give a proper explanation of who she is without giving away the answer, so this is the best I can do.

So far, Sachi's route is the one that felt less rushed. I think they actually covered the most relevant parts of her route considering the limited time they had. And honestly, so many feels watching some of those scenes animated. The sunset, the birthday gift, everything was just so pretty.

I'll say this to clarify a possible mistake people are making. I'll accept answers with slight typing errors like answering "Sahci" instead of "Sachi," since it doesn't interfere with my understanding. However, I can't accept things like "The heroine with pink hair," for as long as a character was named in any way, then his name is to be used in the answer. To set a better example, think about the opening scene. There is a man who we know as the Detective and a man who we know as Elderly Detective. If the answer to a question is the former one, I won't accept things like "the older detective," as it's not how he was officially named by the novel itself. Also, different from names typed wrong, missing letters or additional ones are considered errors, so I won't accept answers containing them. Oh, and to avoid rumors, no one actually answered with "The heroine with pink hair." It just felt like an easy example since I used her name before.
