Yuuji from Grisaia is a really great one, I don't think I've seen anyone dislike him. For some reason, I really loved Sakuraba from Cross Channel, and he's probably the character who gets the least attention in the whole game. The male cast in many games is really awesome, so it's pretty common to have male characters getting as much or even more love than the heroines. I really loved the whole dark and mysterious atmosphere at first, and despite it quickly changing to the classic high school student life, it was really enjoyable to see Soushichi fulfilling his dream. Kuki is a god-tier badass, I knew it from the first scene he appeared and from his first line as well, such a perfect voice. I guess people ain't really that far into the game, so I'll stop here for now.

There ain't many fishmen nor merfolks who are that strong, we could count only Jinbei and Fisher Tiger who truly showed some strength. Of course, since the humans absurdly outnumber them, it's fair to consider that having someone of Jinbei's caliber is already a big feat. I think that what I loved the most about Skypiea and Fishman Island was how much fun I had reading it because of the adventure feeling they had. I also share the same thoughts for Thriller Bark to some extent, although I can't say it's really up there on my list.

I can't really complain, I'm seeing my favorite novel animated and that really makes me really happy, regardless of how close to the original it is. Well, I don't think anyone ever thought they would 100% follow the novel, so I'm not really surprised. Either way, I think it's good enough to get the attention of people who haven't read the VN toward it. Which is awesome, since the kickstarter is to begin soon. It's kinda weird right now as we have been confirmed 24 episodes and the episode layout they released seems to suggest 2 episodes for at least two more girls, as we already got the Michiru ones. They'll either make two routes really big or have them in a medium size and create something entirely new for the last episodes. I can't really read kanji so here's the image with the layout, if anyone would be so kind to translate it, I'd be grateful.

I think it's safe to assume that most of the dissatisfaction toward the Fishman Island Arc is because Marineford left such a huge impression. Well, I really love the fishman island and the flashback was huge imo.
