Not surprised that it got an AO or that it got an ESRB rating? As in which one?

Personally, a T for Teen would cover it I think But seriously, I was a bit surprised to see an ESRB rating on it. Steins;Gate got an M from the ESRB if I recall, but I can't think of any other MG or JAST VNs to get ratings.

And after buying XCOM I ended up sticking Atelier Ayesha into the PS3 and now I'm hooked.

Simple solution is to never ever post again. You might break something important next.

Ended up going the cheap[er route and bought the Xcom Complete pack since its on sale. Don't like the way Enemy Unknown ran (very choppy) on PS3, so PC should work better.

While the situation in Africa is horrible, the media has way overblown what it might do to the US or Canada. Both countries, while large, are equipped to prevent such outbreaks. Keep in mind that just about every year, we have some new, terrible epidemic that will end America. ie. Bird flu, SARS, MRCA, Swine Flu (I got that one and survived just fine), and before that things like AIDS and what not. Point is, the media absolutely loves scaring you. That is why minor weather events like 2 inches of snow in a southern state gets insane coverage. People get scared and watch, meaning they see more ads. Works the same way with this. The media is going to try and scare everyone into watching using "expert analysis" to scare you thus making them more money. The west will be fine.

Still haven't decided what to buy. I really really want The Evil Within, but the PC problems worry me, and I don't want to play a horror game on console without my head set. I do want Alien: Isolation a lot, but it seems ripe for a price cut around Xmas. Meanwhile, Wolfenstein sits on my wishlist.

Always love seeing Shadow Hearts get some love. That battle ring system is just a blast. Can't think of amny games where I enjoyed grinding, but I loved it in Shadow Hearts II. The Atelier Iris games are fantastic (at least the first one is so far, still havent begun the second). I do hear the third was not so great. Chrono games of course are good, but Cross is a little bleh. Suikoden V is fantastic. Just about everything you listed is great. I might even ignore your jab at the newer Atelier Waifu games. Fantastic list Clephas. I know who I'm hanging out with one day.

I'm planning on picking up either Alien: Isolation or The Evil Within today. Anyone got a preference?

Disgea 4 is a lot of fun, but I really need to get better at it, or grind my levels higher to just brute force my way through the game. No gameovers yet, but my lower level members keep getting KO'd way too easily.

A little bit of Disgea 1. I sort of forgot about it though. As someone who pre-ordered The Last of Us, I was kind of let down. Sure it had moments, and was a pretty game, but it gets kind of stale and the story is all downhill after the prologue. And don't get me started on that shitty ending.

The director slated for the show has a good track record, but the fact PA Works is involved scares me. They have not had one show that I've enjoyed.

Began Disgea 4: A Promise Revisited last night. Interesting enough, even though I'm not done with the tutorials yet.
