Aw, part of the fun of books is imagining the art and music inside your head that no human can draw (or compose) and no graphics card can process. I agree VN's make it a lot easier though. The Song of Ice and Fire TV series came very close to my imaginations though.

It's been awhile, but Ender's Game by Orson Scott, and all the follow up books and side-stories. I want to see a Visual Novel made out of them. Real life children actors are just shit. Sword of Truth by by Terry Goodkind. If you like Fantasy, Heroics, Adventure and Romance read these. It's what got me into A Song of Ice and Fire. Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay. Another great fantasy book. Chronicles of the Black Company, Return of the black Company, Many Deaths of the Black Company by Glenn Cook. Highly regarded novels in the fantasy community. The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapowski. Adapted on to become one of the best Western RPGs of the past decade. These are short stories written on Geralt of Rivia and his encounters with both human and monsters. Who are really the monsters though? If you like the book, play the games. Eternal Champion by Michael Moorcock. Not as good as I remembered it when I was younger. Story telling is a bit shoddy. Still contains compelling fantasy scenarios about a guy who wakes up and finds himself in a different heroes body each time. This book is the inspiration for Berserk's main character Gutts.

The first time Sasaki's father was introduced in her route there was this silly music playing in the background. I don't think we were ever supposed to take him seriously. The whole route was cliche. It reminded of the 90's Jet Li The Defender (yes I'm old.) Yuuji and Yumiko almost play the exact same role as these two.

The problem with these strong "dependable" MC types are that they always end up losing the most important people to them ironically. That's pretty scary if you ask me. The smart thing to do is to pick MCs who have a reliable track record of 0 causalities around them. 1.) Squid girl 2.) Nyaruko 3.) Mangakas

Granted, you're now the time lord. But you're under oath with the Universe to never interfere with anything directly outside of time and space. You stare on lonesomely outside of time and space at the living affairs of those you used to interact with. And you're only able to manipulate time and space to fix... wait what is a time lord's job specifically? I wish that all censors from ero scenes from Japan are removed.

I think you'd still have to wait for downtime in between updates and that can be considerably more frustrating.

Impressive. A Western gameplay VN influenced by real Westerners. Looks rich. The art could use some better detail though. Resembles a shockwave game.
