  2. Woah there, calm down A_hisa Though since that isn't YT, I'll also show off this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ebowVjk80
  3. Subarashiki Hibi ~Furenzoku Sonzai~ is the 'best' Visual Novel I've played, as well as it is my favorite work of fiction in all of Japanese media. This is a story that I'm mainly personally attached to, since at the time of my reading it (this was my 6th VN), the resulting paradigm shift helped me out spiritually-wise, pulling me out of my seemingly perpetual comfort zone and allowing me to take control from there. Aside from the personal reason, SubaHibi has an inherent trait of ingenuity with its seamless blending of an abstract ideology into a narrative structure, meaning the story will end up being seen differently by different people yet the ingenuity shown from it stays the same. Due to my mindset at the time, I approached the story as a 'puzzle' as I had with everything else, so I ended up greatly appreciating the intricacy of the plot and its various connections to the theme presented. With that I suspect people who approach the story the same way will enjoy it just as much. TL;DR: I love SubaHibi like I love my favorite stuffed animal and icecream.
  4. a_hisa's new single https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zslg5hVtsbk
  5. Hello fellow Subarashiki Hibi appreciator and welcome to Fuwanovel. I stalk your MAL profile and I can safely say that you have good taste. ^^ Aria and SubaHibi for life! (and Baldr Sky and Umineko and Cross+Channel and- I better stop) Anyhow, enjoy your stay here in our easygoing yet active community and I do hope we will have a chance to discuss/talk about these or other cool games in the future~
  6. Tsui no Sora is a terrible experience that will forever ruin your vision of Subarashiki Hibi so don't read it. But in a way it's an absolutely unforgettable experience in this so read it if you feel like exploring the idea of ruination. Anyways about 95% of Tsui no Sora's script is basically copy-pasted as the first three chapters (excluding RH1) of SubaHibi, except it's extensively edited and polished to fluidly transition with the experience of the last three chapters. This makes it kind of meaningless to play it in the first place. About every Necessary denpa title that I can think of was already recommended here, which doesn't really tell any tale about the genre's library. From this list Sayooshi seems to be of the highest quality (I'd say Sayooshi is even as great as SubaHibi in parts), so I guess I'd recommend that first and foremost. Next would be Kusarihime since it's cool, and... That's honestly about all I can say lol.. Poor denpa the sub-sub-genre of an already niche corner in media that's part representative argument against Key's plots.
  7. なぜそんなジャンル名… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaK0nRpKWAQ
  8. 10/10 Such a meaningful song sung by such a passionate voice.. It's particularly why Yanagi Nagi is my favorite singer.

  13. Harukuru has a special place in my heart, I will join and read it together with you guys if it turns out to win over. If not, then it looks like I have a new Eroge to play anyways. :>
  14. Because it's good. It doesn't matter to me what content the song holds, because the melody is what I'm listening to. (everything about this song is great to me to begin with)

  16. Hearing this has really put a gloom over my whole day, considering I've grown up entirely on Nintendo games (especially Kirby and Earthbound... Earthbound ;_; ). R.I.P. Satoru Iwata, you will be missed. However, to this day onward you will still continue to be revered as the ultimate video gaming icon.
  17. It doesn't help that SubaHibi is a masterpiece in terms of story. That and its OST complement each other perfectly, and 夜の向日葵 in particular is Matsumoto Fuminori's finest piano piece. ^^
  18. For some strange reason this song reminds me of FF9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRuYFRVok3M Utopia Melodia
  19. Confession: I figured out Sca-ji and wanted to write about my findings but.. wasn't able to, because of some personal issues getting in the way. Also, I realized that I suck majorly at translating so.. Welp, nothing to do about these #firstworldproblems but drown in my sorrows with baked cookies.
  20. A_hisa is pretty OP wow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InTXCtTYxlo Utopia Melodia
  21. Finished Gatchaman Crowds. It's a great superhero show that infused me with a lot of optimism. While I've seen its representations done better elsewhere, they were still clear in their novelty within this show, and they managed to reach up to a very high level of appreciation for me. After all, that's probably the one reason I would rate Gatchaman Crowds so highly; on an almost core personal level, I could deeply appreciate the representations this anime makes. There was one particular scene that just sticks out because I will forever personally relate to what its portraying. This is, in my eyes, the greatest feature of Gatchaman Crowds to all possible audiences. The art and audio direction in the show is well-done and done with a style I personally favor as well, ultimately putting this anime in the range between 8/10 and 9/10 for me. Also... SECOND SEASON WHEN??? (in about a day it seems LOL)
  22. To me, Hakomari is another one of those rare special stories that fulfills all of my 'dreams' that I envision of an ideal media in a certain medium. Or in other words, it's undeniably cool just to think about it, and to read it with retrospect on the former makes it even more cool. I'm planning to read the awaited Vol. 7 in English before reading it in Japanese because I've read all the prior volumes in that manner so far. As for what I think Vol. 7 will contain? Hahaha... Only the completely unexpected.
  23. UM > Subahibi
