  1. Ooh now this is p cool. Go ahead and count me in, too. My Skype: blickwinkel11
  2. Just finished watching The Tale of Princess Kaguya with my entire family. It was probably the best animated movie I've ever seen. The whole experience deeply resonated with me, and the themes aligned with a lot of my personal values. My parents were actually very deeply moved by this film, as well. 11/10 movie.
  3. 猫叉Master~~~! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5VMW23J5QU
  4. As most of you probably already know from my rather obsessive demeanor here regarding this eroge.. Subarashiki Hibi changed (or more precisely, altered) my, err, perspective on life. I guess it's one of the first instances of me reading a fictional story and experiencing an "epiphany" from it. Which in turn, made me also willfully seek out experience-worthy stories rather than simply entertainment-worthy ones. If I were to go into detail on why this is it'd involve spoilers for the story, so I won't, and instead say that there's a whole list of reasons why I felt so moved after reading SubaHibi. Because about half of it was me and my previous experiences while the other half was the story's themes and ideas, along with one particular character, all connecting together... Oh and, I for sure can't ever forget about [that], and what about [this] as well, etc. I could go on and on because of the story's specially complex nature. Anyways, this was close to 3 years ago. Starting SubaHibi was my main motivation to learn Japanese, so there's that as well.
  5. Reading Qualia forever. It's pretty much the SubaHibi of manga, yep...
  6. Mysel-- Oh. From this Visual Novel. She is my true favorite girl so I guess I really am a lolicon.. only deep down inside. (*‿*✿) くすくす……
  7. Oh, I see. I feel like I should've realized this sooner, lol. xD Well... All I have left on me is this obligatory picture, to you and everybody else here: My favorite girl appearing in Sakura no Uta! (ノ^∇^) (Edit: No, I'm not a lolicon) I wonder if she'll be an Ayana v2.0? (I hope~ <33) Edit #2: No one can replace Ayana's character sadly, and this girl's expression gives indication that she might not have such a similar.. er, 'personality'. Oh well, still my favorite~
  8. Every instance I look at Marie's profile, something (unknown) inside of myself breaks. Slowly etching away at what little resistance I have left regarding the playing of Dies Irae amongst my ever-growing backlog of 'Ultra-Purple Dyed Eroge Foodstuffs'. I say it like that because I've recently painted all my eroge experiences a contrasting hue of purple.. and it'll be something like Dies Irae, as blatantly red as it is, to bring me out of this long-standing cycle of procrastination once consumed. I've nothing against the color purple by itself, though. You know what I mean... くすくす Although, I anticipate Sakura no Uta far more...
  9. I've stalled Tsuriotsu for a little bit of time, mostly so that I can begin playing another eroge that had kept my interest piqued over the past few months. Although I never bothered to pick it up before (due to getting sidetracked from various things..), I certainly have done so now. What I like to do often, is play one eroge alongside another, and alternate between the two so to keep my attention-span in check. This means I'll still be playing Tsuriotsu, but also while I play this other game with Tsuriotsu on the side. This eroge is quite purple. Actually, as of now I'd like to define it through the color purple itself.. because of how utterly 'purple' every element so far appearing in this work seems to be. Does that even make any sense? (Nope lol) Not without context, but in Shi'ei no Sona-nyl's case, that's how it feels (to me) from what I see of the music, writing, art, characters, everything. Purple. Purple. Purple. I sure hope you like the color purple.. probably enough so to manage mentally handling this ultra-purple Visual Novel experience. Purple. Never-ending purple! All of that nonsense above was something I decided to write out at the moment, just to fill in for the lack of a more legitimate first impression of Sona-nyl. Firstly because, from what I've read of the story thus far, it's a bit too abstract to casually express in the way I tend to enjoy expressing these things. (*´・v・) And then not to mention, that spoiling absolutely any of the content in the What a Beautiful Series is something I wouldn't enjoy doing to other people. It's just criminal. Lily is so cute though. Definitely one of the cutest I've seen in a while. (*‿*✿) (She is also voiced by Kawashima Rino, making her three times as amazing)
  10. Confession: I literally squealed like a fangirl when I saw this hyping of a new game. What is wrong with me nowadays. (・□・;)
  11. Welcome to Fuwanovel~ So you're currently in the midst of reading the glorious Subarashiki Hibi, have an interest in philosophy (not to mention studying it), and along with that you like Wittgenstein which is the very thing that goes hand-to-hand with SubaHibi? Wow, can we be friends? (*‿*✿) No seriously, we should have a discussion sometime in the future. I'm a huge fan of pretty much all those things too! Well besides that, I really think you'll like it here since Fuwa's an extremely nice and outgoing community. There are also quite a lot of interesting/intriguing discussions to be had here, so we got that covered as well. I suspect that when SubaHibi is fully released in English, it'll be the only thing people can talk about for a pretty long time. Many fun times ahead, right? If you're still interested in Light Novels and Light Novel writing, then I have a recommendation to give you regarding building up your world of ideas. When you get the chance, try out: HakoMari/空ろの箱と零のマリア It's a unique story that holds a lot of very intuitive ideas (some of philosophical nature), and it's also quite the masterpiece. I even put HakoMari alongside SubaHibi and one other work in terms of "ingenuity". Maybe it can help you somewhat with the Light Novel style. Hope you enjoy your time here! ^^
  12. A while ago I finished the glorious Tenshihane (written by the same guy who did Asairo so naturally I consumed that thing (*´・v・)) and have entirely fallen in love with the trap protagonist trope. I needed another trap protagonist in an eroge that was well-regarded.. so I looked no further than Tsuriotsu which another great writer had a part in. I've barely read past the prologue portion of Tsuriotsu and.. Wow. This eroge already seems to sport some amazing potential right off the bat. Definitely going to enjoy reading this, and maybe afterwards, I can finally pick up Ruitomo to fully complete what could be called a "Trap Protagonist Holy Trinity".
  13. When I did this survey I put; Subarashiki Hibi (pls x3), Mahoutsukai no Yoru, and Harumade Kururu. All of them are relatively normal in translation difficulty and pretty much kamige.
  14. What's your opinion on this OST?
  15. Yes. The H scenes are also being translated because most of them are relatively important to the story (as in, they contribute to the content of the story). It'd actually be pretty crazy if they were left out of the translation. :/
  16. Something he said himself in the latest 'Translation Status Update/Discussion' thread on r/visualnovels (Reddit). I don't know exactly what this means, but it implies that editing progress might not end up happening as slowly as the translation progress over the last few years did.
  17. Based on some of the things people have said in the past (including the translator), I'm almost certain that SubaHibi's translator plans to fully complete the translation by this year at least. Whenever that happens, I think it'll be interesting to have a lot more people reading SubaHibi since it is quite special. (well, that's my opinion on the work) I almost wonder if SubaHibi will compete with MLA for highest rated on VNDB.. but that's quite the stretch given the H-content. In any case, I really look forward to the people reading it with the full translation release. ^^
  18. 10/10 Masterpiece Nozomi x Eri. (❀◦‿◦)

  20. Exactly as Wahfuu says.. and for that reason I stopped using TA/Jparser/Mecab entirely when I felt confident enough. The two languages (Eng and Jp) are far too different from one another, and deciding to rely on a dictionary that transcribes one to the other all the time is generally a bad idea. I guess this is a pretty simple concept that everyone knows about, but progression is an important thing to be aware of when learning something new. Whatever methodology you're using to learn the language now shouldn't remain the same in the future. You must always strive to seek out a better way that more properly aids you in the learning process. In doing that, all you basically do is help further maintain your knowledge with the subject, and keep yourself from knowing less due to further stagnating in the same position. You either crawl upward or start slipping downwards, in other words. Although, I still suggest that using Jparser and the like is an excellent method for getting the general idea of the language. Having it around even for a while is actually a great idea because it also raises confidence levels (it did for me greatly). Mistakes might be easily made in its use, but when a new method comes around I'm certain they can and will be fixed by the people undertaking them.
  21. (Japanese) 遠くで雫が落ちる。 何処か遠くで、雫が砕ける音……。 砕けたものは、地を潤す。 砕けたからこそ、恵みを与える。 砕けた恵みは大地に染みる事が出るから……。 (English) "A drop of water fell in the distance. The sound of a drop of water breaking somewhere in the distance. That which is broken imparts its moisture upon the earth. Only through breaking can it give its blessing. Because once broken, the blessing is able to soak into the earth..." — Preface to It's my Own Invention, Subarashiki Hibi ~Furenzoku Sonzai~. Of all the countless metaphors in SubaHibi, this one has to be the most meaningful methinks. It also sounds really cool. (*‿*✿) P.S. I didn't translate this (vvav did), and I might seriously just feature these lines in my next signature because they are so freaking cool~
  22. 遠くで雫が落ちる。 何処か遠くで、雫が砕ける音……。 砕けたものは、地を潤す。 砕けたからこそ、恵みを与える。 砕けた恵みは大地に染み渡る事が出来るから……。

  23. Bought Atelier Rorona Plus for Vita the other day, and through playing even very little of it I can already tell that this is something I'm going to enjoy immensely. My previous Atelier experiences were with the original versions of Totori and Meruru, and they were the amazing experiences that changed my outlook on timed challenges (I had always disliked the element of limited time in video games before..). Rorona is qt and I really look forward to the mass amount of new added features and/or elements to this version. I shall keep this thread updated.. Rorona Plus might just hit the nail on the head for me to become an obsessed fan with this game series. (❀◦‿◦)
  24. An 'Eternal Melody' that is made of elementary components, yet poses as something novel. This is my life's background music only when I need it to be.
