  1. Sweet! Mind showing us what's inside?
  2. Aaeru that DiaLovers post made all hell to break loose LOL. That post and some additional fandom war stuff was all over tumblr and twitter. I didn't read the comments on your blog, but seeing some of the stuff floating around on twitter and tumblr made me ಠ_ಠ
  3. Oh dear, I have an entire list (not including emoticons)... for kicks and giggles (alternatively, for shits and giggles) ffs "huehuehue" dat _____ dem _____ doe well, so much for that 21548748424878% DONE WITH _______ I SHIP THAT Peasant! I cannot even begin to fathom this ridiculousness. I can't-- "May ngu hah?" (Pronounced "mai ngooh hah;" not sure if I typed that correctly, but it basically means "Are you an idiot?" in Vietnamese) I have more but some include a tad too much profanity, which I will refrain from posting here lol (I'm a potty mouth at times, but I'm nice, I promise!).
  4. Hey there! Glad to have you join us on the forums. Are you watching the Little Busters anime?
  5. I know how you feel. I'm still reading The Second Reproduction after having it on my computer for months. OTL On the bright side, I finished Gardis' route! One down, two more to go~
  6. Good to have you with us on the forums! Have you heard about the Tsukihime remake? The art looks absolutely gorgeous. Are you helping out with the Dracu-Riot trans'n project? Also (last question, I promise lol) did you learn Japanese through the Heisig method? I've tried learning Japanese for a while now and have been very hesitant on whether or not I should commit to it (tried it a couple times, but it didn't exactly work for me; but I'm willing to give it another shot).
  7. Hi and welcome to the forums! A lot of people get into VNs via anime, myself included. Feel free to ask around if you have any questions and make yourself at home!
  8. Yeah I have the same problem. For me it happens about every time I'm about to post something.
  9. Ooh, I didn't know ReTrans had a second project. Been playing through some of this in the original Japanese, but I will definitely check this out.
  10. Ahh yes, Koe de Oshigoto was also really entertaining. Too bad it's a 2-episode OVA. I would really like it to be a full series
  11. Indeed, it's a unique show worth watching. I only wish that season 3 and after would be 2+ cours long. They have so much of the source material to work with! You should check out the manga if you haven't already. The anime does a good job at remaining faithful to the source so you can skip the first couple volumes. The most I can say without spoiling it is that once you get to a certain point in the manga, the plot thickens escalates very quickly.
  12. The one that came out recently was an OVA for Tenri's arc (from the manga). Season 3 has been announced but there's no confirmed air date afaik. But when it is announced I'm pretty sure CR will pick it up like they did with the other seasons.
  13. YES! +2 I think you'd like TWGOK, Tay. Lots of VN references here and there with romance sprinkled in and a dash of comedy.
  14. I have no idea where this is from (I think either a doujin music group or from Touhou?) but it's really catchy.
  15. It's because their first exposure to Japanese culture was CGs from nukige that they've seen floating around the 'net, so it gave them the wrong impression (that even anime and manga had that kind of material). That was years back though. I've tried enlightening them since then and they've been more accepting, at least to anime & manga, but not so much VNs. It does bug how ignorant they're being about it sometimes, but since they don't judge me I'm okay with it (though I'm still trying to prove them wrong and it's slowly working! LOL).
  16. Wow, there are a lot more fellow Californians here than I thought. I have friends that are into anime & manga but have no idea what a visual novel is. Though not all of them like anime and manga and some of them even refer to it as "just well-drawn porn." =_=
  17. My confession:
  18. Hey there! Great to to have you on the forums with us! Something tells me you, Steve, and Luch would be excellent friends
  19. ようこそう、fuwanovel へ!あなたの大好きなビジュアルノベルとは何だ? (Okay I have no idea if I did that right lol.)
  20. Hey Aaeru, just curious but is there a way for people to somehow add files to your seedbox? It could be helpful in adding more games to the main fuwan site.
  21. Yeah I normally don't play partial patches, but there are some exceptions (like with Oreimo PSP because I know the routes are kinda long). But I usually don't wait on FD trans'ns because I know not that many get trans'd in the first place
  22. For now I'd recommend Flyable Heart. From what I've heard the language is pretty simple and easy to understand.
  23. From what I heard (and from what their official site claims) it is "the largest anime and manga convention in North America." I'm pretty psyched. I've always wanted to go to an anime convention and piss away money like there's no tomorrow. My only beef with AX though is that their guest of honor lists don't come out as early as I'd like them to (I visit their site a lot, even if I'm not going that year). I mean I'd like to know beforehand if any of my favorite seiyuu are gonna be there so I know whether or not I wanna buy a ticket LOL. And the only other option I can think of for the meetup thing is wearing shirts that say "Fuwanovel" or something.
  24. Hmmmm, about the meeting thing. Maybe we could have a secret phrase or something? Or just wear a name tag or something with our handle name LOL.
  25. The only commercial ones I know of are Hakuoki (otoge). Fate/Extra... Eh, not so much. It's more of an RPG. The ones that currently have a patch in-the-making are: Amagami Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku (I actually have not heard about this. Afaik the text is 100% tl'd and edited and it only needs hacking and testing. Maybe someone can spread the word?) Dangan Ronpa Tantei Opera Milky Holmes IMHO I think it's sad how there aren't many PSP trans'n projects. I actually prefer playing on my PSP since I can't lug my laptop around everywhere for VNs.
