All I can say is that it was nice to see an H-scene again after playing through a few of the longer VNs that don't contain any such as Clannad, Remember11 and Ever17 Gotta find that balance

Remember11 and Ever17 are always good choices that don't have sexual content but they're mostly serious. I guess there is some humor though but not much

I feel like JAST wasn't doing much there for a while. Glad to see some activity from them, and what could be better than discount VNs~

The length of a game doesn't really matter to me, its the story that counts. Although I usually have to take breaks between routes on the longer ones so I don't die of boredom . But in a black or white vote I would have to choose shorter games. Its mostly coincidental but the VNs that I have rated the highest are rather short (aside from Clannad)

Overall I thought the dub for Clannad was done well. Greg Ayres was perfect for Sunohara in Clannad, he brought out the idiotic essence that Sunohara represents

I'm quite bored so I think I'll start a new thread. Tell everyone about some anime that you thought had a particularly good dub, and some anime you thought had a terrible dub. Let's avoid a sub vs. dub discussion, because that isn't the topic for this thread Here is a few anime that I thought had a particularly good dub: Maria Holic Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt Cowboy Bebop Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) Mushishi And some bad dubs: xxxHOLiC Special A, Deadman Wonderland (Anything with Monica Rial) Rosario Vampire The quality of voice acting and the cast (Funimation be damned) have a lot to do with it... but that's a given. I think that certain elements in anime call for a dub, the best examples of these are Black Butler and Spice and Wolf where the anime takes place in a European setting.
