I'm interested in taking part in this. If anyone needs someone that's somewhat versed in classical guitar let me know.

I've been gaming my whole life though it's only been in recent years that I could consider gaming a passion rather than a hobby. In these recent year my love of gaming has risen exponentially which is annoying considering I don't have the money to purchase new games. That being said, gaming is also fast becoming a guilty pleasure for me. I consider myself an honourable man (Hubris? never heard of it) so I hate getting excited for or purchasing any game that has such an anti-consumer business behind it, and unfortunately these games are becoming the rule, not the exception. I want to enjoy games, for their trailers to the final product but it's becoming more effort than it's worth. Heck, I can't even talk about how much I love (for the most part) the Assassin's Creed series without following it up with a justification of it's more questionable traits, I couldn't even type this sentence without that little disclaimer before.

I regret nothing.

If I'm perfectly honest I'm more interested in what happens to a game before it's released than the scores it gets after release. A dodgy business practice like micro-transactions is more likely to put me off a game than a 10/10 is to get me hyped for one. Another example is Shadow of Mordor; I had already gathered it would at least be a decent game but I was more interested in hearing about Warner Brother downright awful review embargo policies than hearing about the Nemesis system in the actual game. I'm usually ok with just looking at the general consensus of a game is when I'm purchasing it but there are a few opinions I like to hear beforehand. The reviewers I trust the most would be (in no specific order) Jim Sterling, Angry Joe, ProJared and Caddicarus. I also tune into Zero Punctuation every week because, well, lets face it, no one reviews a game like Yahtzee.

A lot of people are talking about Benio and her route which is ok in a way given that if you haven't played Comyu before you have to play through her route first. Looks like in future months we may need to be a little more specific on what we mean by "first impressions".

As most people here have already said, I'd tell him that most vn have that setting because of the appeal it has to the mass audience. Of course, I would say this after I stitch his dismembered body back together after he turned down Princess Evangile.
