Katawa Shoujo itself might have given me depression (I say might as I was never clinically diagnosed with it but I was displaying classic symptoms for a couple of weeks).

Waking up.

The problem I have with protagonist with these defined by these traits is how uninteresting they are. Masaya in Princess Evangile has a lot of these traits and as a result many scenes that should be emotional, intense or at the very least get your blood boiling are missed because he just shrugs it off and more or less says "oh well, shit happens" in the most peaceful way possible. Actually I take that back, Masaya does get your blood boiling; at how ridiculously passive he is.

Now that I'm able to fully devote my time to Comyu I can give my not-quite-first-impressions. The premise is excellent, it does a damn good job of making Comyu stand out and give it it's own unique story. Despite having already finished it once I'm having enough fun that I'm wanting to play through it all once again. For the most part I am liking the characters. Mayuki is my favourite heroine so far and Izawa is always interesting to have on screen. Benio is pretty fun......... for now. The rest of the characters are enjoyable in their own right. Akihito on the other hand is quite annoying. I don't care for is ideologies and he's frustratingly repetitive (constantly brings up the colour red and has the same motivation to survive in desperate situations). The fight scenes between Avatars are freaking awesome (you know shit's going down when they summon the Red-Eyes Black Dragon in attack position) but are held back by the avatar sprites not showing what is being told. For reasons that have been lost to historians I didn't play with voice acting the first time through. I'm enjoying the voices so far though Mayuki's is a bit too nasally and I think Izawa's doesn't quite match his dialogue.

My profile says I'm a man, but in reality I'm actually a chimp that has been strategically shaved and put in a tuxedo.

I'm usually read vns at night so I just sit at the bed and read for three hours or so. If i'm at my mum's house I keep headphones off but if I'm at my dad's house I keep them on (I share a room with my little brother at dad's house).

My favourite voice actors would have to be Chiho and Ruriko, damn they were cute!

I usually check to see if there is a suggested completion order and then depending on how many choices I need to make (and how many actually count towards the route) I may or may not stick with it, though it seems more often then not I do stick with them.
