here are a couple. why are so many male proatonists, such winy little brats without much character? Why are there not more protagonist who have both brains, social skills, and strengt to make a good proactive prtagonist at which i dont roll my eyes at. ( think more yuuij he's a pretty good example, as wel as hakuoro is another example) (souske from fmp is a half good example, he aint stupid and has a lot of strengt, but his social skills are god awfull) (takeru is a prime example of a terrible protag for me, i absolutely cant stand him for the most part) Why do japanese company's on a general level have such low interest in the international market?

what would be wring with a f/s night time travel story? Seems like a lot of fun if thosaka screwed up en they ended up in sabers time period, right in the middle of her reign. Seems like it would make for a fun parody.

.............. somethimes i really think we need to put everyone between 40 and 70 years of age on a boot and sink it. What a load of bullcrap. This is basically stealing. It basicaaly comes down to this then. You buy a product for money, few years later support ends for the product and then you have to give the product back but dont get your money back. Is that not also illigal? If you shut down support for a game that is one thing, but this is like saying well we shut down support so you need to give your game back to us as we dont want you playing it. Okay fine i will give my game back to you seeing as you dont want me playing it anymore but give me my money back first.

punchline, its not often i dont make it to the end of a first episode but this one made me skip half of the first episode. But i will admit it does look nice, call me when it becomes shligtly less stupid. etotama, is like a hyper active kitten. Annoying as hell, but kind of cute. Not my style so far but i will give it a second episode i think.

i will give it one more episode to start making sense and redeem itself before i throw it out the window;

Rewrite - Framerate problem after updating card
havoc replied to KyouBell's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
not having played rewrite i cant say for sure, but there might be a conflict with the game and the video card. Try and search the settings of the game, it might be that it is still trying to use your onboard video card. -
Majikoi S Translation Project Discussion
havoc replied to Ouraibaa Hjyuraa's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
i so wish she had a route, altough i dont know if she had one in Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de altough i hope that one day that one will also be translated. -
Welkom en de groeten uit Nederland. Welcome and greetings from holland. If i were to give some recommendations of novels that are translated these would be it. Most of these would also be good as for starters except for the Muv Luv series as the first two really are not that great. Fate/stay night is a must play. It is nothing like the anime thing that carries its name. (well we do now in the unlimited blade works adaption) And we just have a new patch that has translated the realta nua version of the game. (wich is an all ages game so it does away with the H stuff and replaces it by something else) http://vndb.org/v11 Tsukihime Another must play, and no this one does not have a anime adaption. http://vndb.org/v7 (it is ancient, got no voice and no music. But it is so good) Muv Luv series, now Muv Luv extra is not that good and Unlimited is merely good but alternative is definitly a must read and to understand it completely you need to have read these two first. (I so hope muv luv alternative get's an anime adaption at some point) http://vndb.org/v93 (extra/unlimited) yes they are packed into one game http://vndb.org/v92 (alternative) g senjou maou Is also a must read. http://vndb.org/v211 clannad is also a must read and is together with fate/stay night one of the vn flagships, muv luv can possible also be considered a flagship. http://vndb.org/v4 Other than that there is Grisaia no Kajitsu wich is also a must read. (By the way, no panty shots in this one, just sex jokes by amane instead) http://vndb.org/v5154. As for a few good anime: (just me rambling on) Aria the animation: http://myanimelist.n...a_the_Animation Crest of the stars: http://myanimelist.net/anime/290.

blood blocade battlefront...... no idea what to think of it. Is it good or is it terrible?

plastic memories, it has a ton of potential. Hope it will not trow it out the window halfway through.

i got dizzysubs, but i dont know about the quality of the rest, should be similair tough. Also the legend of Arlsan is worth checking out.

(Btw, love your sig. I love the Arland alchemists) Regarding FSN, could I skip Fate route? I watched the anime for it, and Fate/Zero. Regarding Cross Channel, could you elaborate on the atmosphere? It's what I'm most interested in stories, and CC's setting made me curious about its atmosphere. 1)Vote with other 2)I loved Umineko and R11 partly because I found a little charm in the unanswered aspect so that's cool. In comparison to the Route A, how are the others? Mainly the characters, because I wasn't fond of Route A's cast. skipping the fate route, no that is not possible because the vn has a forced order wich is a good thing. Also there is no anime adaptation of the fate route. the origional 2005 anime only very very loosely followed the fate route and tried to mix and match all three routes into one 26 episode series which does not work. aso for Muv Luv extra, your point is very valid. My thoughts on that are to read that one in bits and pieces between other vn's.
-
i would go for f/sn, but i need to correct that statedment. F/SN is not the most popular vn it's muv luv alternative. (if you have not read the muv luv series yet, go read it) F/SN is a great vn very well known as well is is a fun read if you ask me. The fate route would be the most boring out of the three because it is mostly about world building and explaining mechanics. The UBW route is in my opinion the best as it combines the best of the fate route with the best of the heavens feel route. (lots of saber from fate and the story telling of heavensfeel) heavensfeel is probably the best written route but it is not my favorite as it has not enough saber for my tastes and is a bit on the dark side.
-
yeah form the choises that seemed to be the case. But i kind of expected differently from the way the main characters seem like more than that. From the main characters i also expected a route for ruriko. And maybe a side route for a few others. But i guess i was wrong
-
just started on it, but i have a question. How many routes are there?

Installer for Muv-Luv is Gibberish
havoc replied to Basically Mogar's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
whoops my bad, wrong game. In this case i just renamed the folder afterwards. Which is somenthing i often do to make browsing easier. Things you can try. 1. rename the folder after installing 2. try the installer that comes with the patch instead of the one from the game. (the english installer that is integreated into the patch) 3. try the installer that comes with the game instead of the patch. (the japanese installer that is part of the iso files) -

havoc replied to Basically Mogar's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
yes i can, personally i have them installed in in E;/vn/visualnovel/muvluv/muvluvalternative My suggestion is that you create the path for it before you install it as not make a new map for itself when you install it to another directory. Also: Finally somone who knows to give some information besides that it does not work, good work basically mogar -
fate stay night is still great albsolutly love the backgrounds. Still Ilya having just watched it, that is not the feeling i got from it. The hunor part was right but i dont agree with the despair part. It feels more like a mix of lonelyness and melancholy with a bit of sadness mixed in.

why is nanoha vivid still not licensed, i would have expected it to be by now.
