Purple Heart > Neptune = Plutia < Iris Heart < White Heart = Black Heart > Vert < Green Heart = Purple Sister = Black Sister > Rom = Ram = White Sisters > Noire < Uni >>>> Rei Ryghts < Peashy < Yellow Heart > Arfoire IF = MAGES > All < 5pb. > Dengekiko = Famitsu < Gust Croire > Histoire = Mina > Chika < Kei Conclusion, I have absolutely no idea who I really like in the HDN universe. Maybe that'll change once I start playing Megadimension VII....

Re zero, Kabaneri and Boku no Hero stands strong as the 3 new anime that everybody is watching and are actually good. Looks like Spring isn't a total bust after all.

I'm also starting on Action U. Are all the irregular quests simply kill all of them? Because that's what I did so far and haven't encountered any tricky ones.....

As someone who have read and watch both NGNL and Mondaiji LN and anime, those reviewers has no idea what they're talking about. In LN terms, NGNL story is much better paced and developed while Mondaiji is stuck with the cliches one dimensional villain (at least until volume 6). Both series has the "OP MCs so they' always win" but NGNL is at least smarter in delivering those wins while Mondaiji is just pure overwhelming strength most of the time (and again, those smart wins in Mondaiji is rather predictable). In terms of anime, NGNL production quality far outshines Mondaiji AND has more story to it simply because Mondaiji only adapted 2 books in 10 episodes while NGNL adapted 3 books in 12 eps. You could say however considering Mondaiji's huge cast of characters, it can be argued that Mondaiji has a better character designs overall and has multiple male characters compared to NGNL female ecchi casts to attract people in. People are only complaining because NGNL gets way waaay WAAAAYYY more attention than it deserves which I would very agree on, but speaking it's worse than Mondaiji (in terms of of both anime and LN) is far too ridiculous. At best one could argue both are standing on the same grounds with each series having their own advantages and drawbacks. Oh and also because there are more ecchi elements in NGNL too so I guess that's also a minus for some people. The only thing I can see Mondaiji has an advantage of NGNL would be the world building which is a pretty unique one and probably the much more content (NGNL has 7 volumes while Mondaiji has 12 + 3 books from the sequel; Last Embryo).

God I swear I'm reading into this episode too much otherwise the directing is arguably on a masterpiece level.

Hah! I called it! Man this episode is filled with symbolism especially that red and blue ogre fairytale. Literal representations.... Also did anyone notice this? It startled me a bit and had to rewind to see it clearly.

What's funny is I was about to delete my post after I double checked it. I had an inkling that something was off, especially considering the LN is already popular in Japan at the time of the Manga release. "Maybe it's one of those types where the adaptation isn't listed as a single series?" is what I thought and wow I was right. I didn't considered it first since it would be such an awkward format but looks like I still need to learn behind Japan's weird publishing system.... ....even weirder that the third "sequel" is already releasing and it's on a different serialization than the second. The only case I've seen with this weird format is Minami-ke's anime adaptations that jumps on different studios each season.... Oh well at least that puts my faith back in LN's manga adaptation.

Decided to check out the Manga adaptation of Re Zero to see the difference between that and the anime adaptation. Although it has a nice art, the manga is probably one of the worst paced adaptation of an LN I've ever read. A first chapter that literally adapts an entire volume which the anime took a 3 (4 if counting the first long episode as 2 separate ones) to adapt. I'm speechless. Even though the art is on a higher level of standard compared to the average LN's Manga adaptation and coupled with it's brutal gore and non-censorship, the pacing level fails at an unprecedented level. It's more ridiculous that the second book is stretched above 4 chapters..... though I won't finish the second book's arc through the manga but from the anime instead.

Your comment implied that no fans are translating the LN of this amazing series.... in which I checked.... and someone did it, for a month before the anime aired then Yen Press decided to license it. Wew looks like people who likes to give in to temptation won't be able to know future episodes without knowing how to read Japanese. .....or maybe I could search for the raws and gets spoiled from the illustrations.... In either case, I'm really looking forward to this series now after discovering that both Silver Link and J.C. Staff are also helping in the production with White Fox. I know that the so called masters of adaptation won't disappoint me this time around, so I guess it's time to raise the expectations bar even higher!

Yeah as I expected. Honestly it's pretty obvious that the murderer is

Other than that ending, it's a tad boring episode for Re Zero.... Well I can understand the slow pacing quite a bit but.... Oh yeah we finally got a proper ED scene! Been waiting forever.... It's a pretty one too.

Mumei has absolutely no chill..... Now I'm wondering what would happen if Mumei is in a normal school life in Japan.... Big Order is such a trainwreck that I can't stop watching it. As expected of Mirai Nikki's author. Mayoiga is getting to that snooze fest territory but that ending.... Sakamoto is starting to wear out its jokes.... but from the looks of it next episode will be more interesting.

...Right... I forgot we have a 12.8....

What Kaguya said. If you really want to know the power levels of each character, you need to read their official lore from the game and other canon works such as Perfect Memento in Strict Sense, Oriental Sacred Palace, etc. Finding hints and other information. Relying on bosses category won't work either for the fighting game exclusive characters such as Hata no Kokoro or Kasen Ibaraki. For example, Yuyuko is the final boss of PCB yet her ability to, without exception and without permitting any resistance, end the life of any living being, whether it be human or youkai can be said to be completely BROKEN. Necessarily this makes her ridiculously stronger than almost all of the final and extra bosses from other games. Conclusion? The only powerlevel you can safely determined are the scrub bosses such as Cirno, as well as weak canon non-game characters such as Sunny Milk, Luna Child, Star Sapphire, Hieda no Akyuu, Kosuzu Motoori.

Necroposting again because OSFrog just made a League of Lesbians 2. Holy shit, scan? Tower armor aura?? Tome of Knowledge??? ..... ....Well I guess we can properly dunk with Earthshaker now.....

It has been the fourth episode and they still haven't used a proper ed scene yet. It's not that I'm complaining but I'm purely amazed by the quality of this show art wise alone that they're sticking with removing the ED animations for new scenes..... considering especially that the studio doing this show isn't known for high tier, long running, production quality series.....
-
Okay, wow that is a beautiful episode for Kabaneri. Plenty of action, well composed soundtrack (sasuga Sawano again), actually a good MC and one hell of a badass main heroine. Oh yeah I almost forgot the God ED song. Aimer and Chelly on both of your ears.... just melting your brain.... Flying Witch has a relaxing and cute OP with a very relaxed atmosphere and well rounded characters all around. The highlights of this series however, will probably be the reaction these characters are giving because some of them are pure priceless!

Haifuri.... Blue Mermaids? Yokosuka Marine High school? World War 2 ships? Moe girls? Did somebody decided to marry Kancolle with Aoki Hagane? Because this looks like to be their perfect child who decided to look up Girls Und Panzer as their role model. And wow they just blatantly make an outdated Harukaze sunk a Sarushima.... as well as surviving and running away from Admiral Spee when they get as close as 3km..... ...Well nitpicking aside, this is definitely my dream anime. I wonder if they're gonna put Carriers in or other battleships too. It'll be funny if they're suddenly put up against a 21st century nuclear power Aircraft Carrier and won.

All my expectations for Re Zero are far surpassed in episode 3. Never knew White Fox could be this good after Akame ga Kill. I'm pleasantly surprised. Gorgeously executed action scenes, eye candy designs, well composed soundtrack, perfectly well placed pacing and a good story to wrap it all out. I dare say this anime is probably my AOTS even surpassing Kabaneri. It's time to raise the expectation bar again and hope I don't get disappointed! Best action cinematography I've seen in anime for a while.

I'm gonna bet that all the girls in Netoge will fall for the MC sooner or later. I've also got KonoSuba vibe from it, except it's High school stuff and not an isekai setting. I'm 99% sure that's the reason why he doesn't want to fight and it can easily be justified with his age. Honestly I don't expect much than the better-than-expected action scenes.

Since we're all about using words that mean things, and "Objective" means "not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts." Reviews are by nature subjective. News should be objective, but not reviews. Reviews require an opinion, and opinions are not objective. A review can say, "The music is too creepy," without justification. On the other hand, news are to determine if something was objective. When writing news, writers would ask themselves, could someone else disagree? If yes, rewrite. Could someone else say the music is not too creepy? Of course, but it's fine because it's a review. If someone says an outfit is sexual or objectifying, could someone else disagree? Sure. But that is also fine, it's a review. In a review, an opinion and a point of view are not just allowed, they are REQUIRED.

Cool. Cooler! Coolest!! It's like taking the OP MC stereotype and putting it to an everyday highschool life. Combined with a smooth groovy soundtrack and you will get..... what? Haven't you heard? It's Sakamoto. Bungou Stray Dogs looks fun, but only fun so far. Predictable too but it is only just as a set-up. Looking forward to this. For something from Studio Pierrot, Sousei no Onmyouji has such amazing fights. It feels like a more shounen version of Noragami. Definitely continuing this, hoping Pierrot not burning it's flames on the first episode.... ....why is Ace Attorney so mediocre? It doesn't make sense. It was amazing when I played the game.... is it the pacing? animation? soundtrack? Well the subs are bad, mixing up the english names when the seiyuus are using the Japanese names, but I doubt that's the main problem.... Urgh, I can't drop it until I know why it's so.... average.
