Of course, this is assuming that these weapons are not naturally able to deflect high level magic. In this case, wouldn't that mean that weapons/Noble Phantasms have the capacity to deflect a high-level attack even though they are several ranks lower than an attack (magic, for example)? It would be embarrassing for an A rank attack to lose to a C- one after all.
