  1. So after last February's visual novel, which was Shikkoku no Sharnoth, the VN Club's activities stopped. It was disappointing, of course, so a few of us decided to start up the VN Reading Club once again! The said revival was planned and talked about in Shikkoku no Sharnoth's discussion thread. Of course, that was no appropriate place to talk about it, so the discussion moved on to a private message consisting of four members. Those members are the following: Kurisu-chan, Nimbus, kyrt, and yours truly. Later on, Kaguya joined and formed the current team. The VN Reading Club was a really nice idea spearheaded by our very own Kaguya, which aimed to get us all together to read a certain visual novel we all decided on. After a number of weeks, a thread would be put up to start off the discussion about the visual novel chosen for the month. It was a really nice activity, and gave off vibes that truly resembled that of a community. And so, we'd like to revive this idea in order to once again pull us all together to do something as a community! Here's the original opening post by Kaguya: In general, the VN Club will still have the same goals and activities. However, as any other person would, we'd like to spice things up a little by introducing activities that would be possible through the cooperation of the members of the said club. We'd appreciate it if you'd share with us activities that you'd deem appropriate for the club. Your input would help us greatly. If you're asking whether the next months would consist of just us choosing whatever title we want, then no, not really. For now, the general idea that's accepted is picking out a theme for each month, then choosing a title that falls under that certain theme. Of course, these will be picked out through voting. Sometimes, you'll vote for a theme, and we'll pick four VNs that fall under that theme. Then the voting for what we'll read will ensue. Other times, we'll pick a theme, then you'll pick out a visual novel to read that falls under that category. It would change continuously to give everyone a chance to pick out something they really want. Discussion will, of course, not last for one month only. Members are free to discuss a VN previously read in their respective discussion threads, no matter which month it was. If you were stuck, then you are free to go back to that thread to participate in the discussion you might have missed out on. In the same way, the members are free to join and not join whenever they want to. Real life circumstances are, of course, unavoidable, and we understand that. Laziness is also a factor, so there's that. Here are the previous months' discussion threads. Feel free to talk about those months' visual novels in their respective threads: Kaguya's Cycle: Cycle 1: Cycle 2: Cycle 3: For now, the question will still be the same as our leader Kaguya's opening post: So? Do you think it's a good idea? And if so, would you like to join? Thanks for reading the wall of text, guys. Feedback will always be appreciated. <3 Let's revive the club once more! Feedback Threads:
  2. So I just noticed that I was actually warned for that bad end in Chapter 7. Well damn. That bad end was mysteriously good for me though.
  3. I like the art, but I haven't watched it. So false. Next person is willing to buy me cabbage. (A reply to your PS: Oh. I see. Still false.)
  4. Oh. My VN list doesn't reflect everything that I've played, since I'm generally too lazy to update the list. Also, this is the first time I've seen you here. I hope to see you more. <3
  5. Brushed with a soap? How do you do that? Next person likes reading visual novels.
  6. I always thought that reenactments were really cool. I'd love to participate in one in the future. Though most of the battles I know of were those of the Sengoku Era in the 1500s, and battles that took place in the Philippines. I need to polish my memory about these battles again. I do miss studying history. One day, I swear I will take part.
  7. Yes. A lot of salt is always great. Especially online. Next person likes cosplaying.
  8. I know that silly. I was just saying that I can't do that because, well, I just don't like skipping stuff haha. We all have our own preferences, so I understand if you do that.
  9. Lol Yozora. Adachi died in such a non-spectacular way... Edit: I was beat to the punch by Night 1. I'm just waiting for Makoto to die. Also, gdi Yuuji. I didn't know your charm worked on men as well.
  10. Getsuya, you're a Sengoku Era fan!?
  11. Don't even know who the hell that is. Next person likes Elias dogs.
  12. Kiritsugu. All shall bow down before Tay.
  13. I forgot to make any x000th. Anyway, congrats on 1000+ posts, Satsuki! I'm gonna ride your train of Loli > Tsunderes, because it's very much true. In most occasions, anyway.
  14. Gotta love the last two episodes. But yeah. I liked it, but didn't love it as well. You could pull out a lot of things from your ass to interpret whatever happened, and it would still not make sense. That's about that.
  15. Sure. MacBook. Next person bet on Mayweather.
  16. I cannot testify to how true Gurluas' answer in #2 is, but his answer in #1 and #3 is generally correct. I always believed that Caliburn was said to be more of an ornament for a king rather than a sword. I don't remember it being said that it's stronger than Excalibur. About #4, well, I can't say anything about that. I can only believe that he managed to survive through some method that god knows what. I'll just say that it was needed for the plot to advance.
  17. I don't think I'd like skipping anything from a visual novel. Rather, filler scenes are something I enjoy, so I can't skip that. H-scenes, well, stuff. Anyway, I'd like to experience it fully, not only the important parts, which is why I can't agree much with you. </3
  18. Extended version? There was a rumor like that? Anyway, every plan of mine has been ruined, and I don't think I'll be able to watch this anytime soon.
  19. How many hours did you lose?
  20. I like them too. Also, I support this all the way. That is, in fact, if someone's willing to be my partner. ...Way to rub it in, Kosaki.
  21. Kosakyun

    Hentai

It's good, yeah, unless you dislike forced and direct incest between father and daughters. And sex with their friends as well. Though I haven't watched everything. Pretty sure it stops being forced in some episodes. Gdi dude now I have to download it again.
  22. Welcome to the forums, indeed. It doesn't matter if your country's third-rate or something. So as long as you will to interact, you'll always be welcome here. <3 Anyway, do enjoy your stay.
  23. False. I don't like both. Next person knows Neneko.
  24. False. Next person had seen the Queen of England in person once.
