Whether or not Kotori will be higher or lower depends on how popular she is in ENG, so who knows if it'll be 80000-85000 or 90000+ Over in JP, Maki tier 1 cutoff 105k. For Kotori, 113k. Dey cray cray.

The thing about Rewrite's common route is that it is very much indeed pointless in terms of the overall arching plot. The only things you get out of it include a comedic slice-of-life (which you definitely do not seem to be enjoying), a slight preview of the heroines' personalities, and some small foreshadowing of the supernatural stuff going on. Rewrite becomes much, much more serious once you get past the common route and into the individual routes. If you can tank the common route for another ~10-20+ hours, it MAY be worth it, but it sounds like this just isn't your cup of tea.

I love playing when I just wake up. I totally get like 100x more "Good"s that way xD I'm blind and can't react for crap. DA:O: male mage Warden who romanced Morrigan (and chose to accompany her through the portal in the Witch Hunt DLC) DA II: female rogue Hawke who romanced Isabella (dual rogue lesbians!). And yeah, it was a shame Aveline & Varic couldn't be romanced. It was pretty limiting to only have Merill/Isabella or Fenris/Anders available.

Sorry, that title is a bit ambiguous to me xD. Do you mean: 1) you want a male's opinion on male VN characters? 2) you want a male's opinion on VNs aimed at males? 3) you want a male's opinion on male characters on VNs aimed at males? 4) you want someone's opinion on (repeat 1-3)? ~~~ I think 1 or 4(1) sounds about right so I'll answer that. Yeah, there have been male characters that I've liked and said were cool. But I don't think I will ever like them more than the heroines hehe. The heroines are the reason I'm in the VN buziness B) ~~~ When it comes to male protagonists (don't really have any non-protagonist males that I like from the VNs I've read), the ones I found myself actively rooting for include: 1) Grisaia's Kazami Yuuji: the guy's the definition of a badass protagonist. Not to mention he has the best inner monologues. 2) Rewrite's Tennouji Kotarou: he starts off as a typical goofball, but in the latter half when things get serious he becomes quite serious as well. The Kotarou in Moon/Terra is nothing like the Kotarou in the common route. No more fun and games~ 3) G-Senjou's Azai Kyousuke: this guy's morals are pretty twisted since he grew up as the son of a yakuza boss. Just watching him try to live an everyday life with his friends while also having to deal with his dirty work in the underworld along with pursuing 'Maou' is an interesting dynamic. (Though, I absolutely HATE his character if you go for the bad endings of the heroines. It's like despite everything he went through he just goes "screw everything I'm going to the darkside"!!! And I'll never forgive what he does to Mizuha.) Edit: Meaning as much as I like Yuuji I'm never going to go "OMG YUUJIIII <333" the same way I go "OMG SACHIIIII <333" or something. xD ~~~ But I guess from this you could say that I like male characters with interesting backgrounds and a good personality, as generic as I just made that sound xD. They should also be capable; that is be able to do things by themselves and also think for themselves. (Looking at you, Takumi from Chaos;Head. You pissed me off sooo much with your patheticness!!!) I can't answer your other question about the male character not being in the story, since all the male characters I like are protagonists xD.

EX are starting to piss me off cuz I'm at the point where I get 1 Good that just ruins everything Not to mention 60 LP works so much nicer for 4 hards; any combination of EX's + Hard (don't wanna play Normal) will leave LP leftover so I can't just use another love gem..
