Eclipsed replied to Nosebleed's topic in Request a Change/Report Site Problems
I believe we actually voted on this theme to not have that cpu resource hogging asshat of an animated banner when we got it, but after the forum upgrade it got enabled or something -
PQube will publish Root Letter, Kadokawa Games’ PlayStation 4 and PS Vita mystery visual novel, in North America and Europe in 2016, the publisher announced. Root Letter is a youth mystery adventure and human drama set in Shimane Prefecture. In it, the player will engage an adventure to solve the mystery of Fumino Aya, a pen pal friend from high school who disappeared after leaving a mysterious letter. A letter delivered 15 years later. Root Letter will launch in Japan on June 16. Kadokawa Games announced earlier today that a demo willl also be made available in Japan on that date. source: http://gematsu.com/2016/06/pqube-publish-root-letter-west#HMbBqcgX00SGvarK.99 ~~ I thought this thing would be related to Root Double or somethin' cuz title, but apparently not. It's interesting to see PQube pick up something new to localize in addition to their STEINS;GATE 0 OMFG HYPER!@$@%#$^% . Prior to this they only had the BlazeBlue series on their record. We'll see how this turns out.

Best perk about my job is the paid commute, when we have to vanpool some 90 miles to a location I can just sit my ass down and spam Trails of Cold Steel on my Vita for 2 hours and get paid for it One day I'll maybe bring my Tabby for them VNs... ehhh nvm, my coworkers will probably give me the judgmental look of death. Time to support All Ages!

Chapter 4? You're farther than me then!!! >:c Alisa really is "meh" indeed honestly, she's a generic tsun-tsun who has nothing on Ar Nosurge's Cas, and her problems with her mum and the maid seem soooo first-world problems , but I'm still biased soo Laura's great indeed. Right now though it seems she has problems with Fie, so I'll see how that turns out....

@mustache idk, seems them nosehairs have a better growth rate than them mustachio-hairs, unfortunately. ~~ FINE, I'll hold off on Fata Morgana until your break starts, I've been, uh, a bit more busy party hartying slacking off anyways

The dub's actually decent-to-good, like you should be able to get "used" to it after like an hour or a day of playing; at first I found it cringeworthy too 'cos I am super elitist JP-only-voice purist connoisseur, but yeah, decent-to-good ..But I'm still guilty of wishing I could hear Alisa's JP voice instead every now and then >:c

Hopefully I'll be able to finally save up enough skrilla for a PS4 by then

I'm you from the future, remember?

You need to get BANG'ed by Lilith >:c and no that's not a sexual comment ~~ Since I'm playing Trails of Cold Steel on the side I can't afford to read something as long as Aselia the Eternal SO!!! We're going Fata Morgana I'm gonna go into this super critical closeminded hater hipster high expectation judgmental style given all the hype
-
Indeed ...I doubt they'll get fazed by alcohol
-
The mix is jarring, I mean you go into the Second Stratum and it's all eerie and you just barely avoid getting mass spiked to death, then Lilith & Sorami's all like, "EYYYYY, THERE'S A MAID CAFE, LET'S GOOO ~~~" Nevertheless, this combination is indeed what makes Tokyo Babel so charming imo

So much talk about the music, where's da "ermergawrrd, story and writing!!@1 AND DIFFERENT ART!1@1!1!" hype :c

Soon. Btw, now that replaying 999 ruined it for you... ~~ Cold Steel is great. It's a very slice of lifey JRPG, slow paced, so its not for people who want to jump straight off the train and into the action FFVII-style. You get 'free' days in between field studies to bond with classmates and converse/quest with townsfolk, and holy crap EVERYBODY in the main town has their own ongoing little story going on, they're not your typical one-time-one-line NPCs, so while it can feel chorey at times to have to walk all over and talk to everyone to see what's new as the main story goes on, it can also feel quite fulfilling.
