Up to Episode 10 of The Irregular at Magic High School. Pretty standard stuff so far, just an overpowered, capable calm n' collected protagonist lacking in magical talent and his idolizing-to-borderline-incestuous-lust talented imouto living out their days at an elite magic skoo while dealing with school cultural WEED vs BLOOM problems and taking out the occasional terrorist squad. Enjoyable. I heard the quality dips in the latter half, though, so I'll be on guard for that.

The Senses system looks convoluted but I think it's more just a flavorful way to give the player some choice in how to react to situations. So here I was about to finally start Amnesia: Memories after spending years of internal-conflict-deciding to bail on Fate/Stay (dw, I'm planning on reading it this summer for sure, trust me ) But then I remembered Root Double exists, so I'm going with that. ~~ I also went through The Leisure of Grisaia. HeheheheheHEHEHE, it's been too long. You can pretty much consider it an extra chapter 30min ~ 1h in length that could be tossed into Grisaia's common route. 'Cept it's girls-only, and they're full of hormones, so take that as you will Hah... Meikyuu + Rakuen needs to come out already.

I haven't read Comyu, so I'm spared from the dreaded-comparisons-that-ruin-my-enjoyment-of-something-else, but I can understand how some people wouldn't enjoy the clash between SoL-clowny-moe-shenanigans in a serious/apocalyptic setting such as Tokyo Babel's. I loved all of those moments, though Idk if it'll get better for you, but for all routes the story usually drops / tones down those shenanigans after the Second Stratum starting on Third Stratum.

Sure, stretching definitions and everything VNs without text could exist, just take any current VN you know and remove the text . It'd be pretty fun going through Clannad without any text. Just gotta have the protag voice all of the inner monologues and rely 100% on listening to voices to get the story. Though, I guess then it'll = audiobook or something
