I have been playing around with the idea of translating Ruitomo (Full Voice Edition), and for that I have tried to look around for tools that can help me extract the data files. So far, I have tried: 1. KrkrExtract - managed to extract data.xp3 (archive itself is unencrypted) into the original file structure, but all files seem to be encrypted/gibberish. All .png files cannot be viewed with an image viewer. Opening .ks files with Notepad++ and switching to Shift-JIS encoding does not yield readable text. 2. GarBRO - same result as KrkrExtract 3. Kirikiri Tools (https://github.com/arcusmaximus/KirikiriTools) : does not recognize the .ks files as scrambled script files. 4. VNTextPatch (https://github.com/arcusmaximus/VNTranslationTools) : outputs an Excel file with gibberish text Here's an example of a .ks file I have extracted: Also, maybe this could be a hint, but each .xp3 file in the game folder is associated with a .xp3.sig file. Wondering if this has anything to do with the encryption Would appreciate any help in deciphering the contents of the script, or pointers to the right approach to do so.

Hello. I've been ripping sprites from Visual Novels for a bit, but I'm still new to it. I haven't ripped sprites from ps4 before so I'm confused. Opening the .pkg and .cpk files was relatively easy, so I didn't have any issues with that. However, the files are from ID00000 to ID01867. And that's only the character files. I have no idea what files those are as it doesn't say, so I have no idea what to do atm. Here are how the files look: I'd really, really appreciate some help. I've been trying for some time now and nothing.

Recently I've been attempting to figure out how to patch Rejet games on PC. I learned how to access and edit the scripts using AnimED and everything was going well until it came to repacking the files back into their original .rpd format and replacing the game's scenario.rpd for the game to run again. I was using Bad Medicine as a test and whenever I attempted to run the game with the edited .rpd it would stay stuck on a black screen after getting past the MC naming screen. I know AnimED is partially abandoned at this point but otherwise it had worked well and I'm unsure if I'm just missing some extra step. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the duplicate post, the other one was posted in the wrong forum. This is the VN https://vndb.org/v15802 The game have ".dat" format file. This is the entire folder structure of the game. AnimED method doesn't work. Extractdata method can only extract the SE.dat (sound effect). Many thanks in advance!!

As the title suggests, I'm having trouble going about starting my own personal Visual Novel project. I have experience playing Little Busters and I am truly inspired by how much content is in the game. My only question is how they manage to include different and unique content in each route and each different choice you make. I was wondering if someone could explain a strategy that is used prior to writing the script that could help me manage a flowchart well. Thanks!

when I open the "scenario.arc" (arc_conv https://github.com/3licie/majiro-tools ) many ".mjo" files are opened, I pass those files to "notepad ++" and I put "condification / character set / japanese / shift-jis" and I see the text in japanese and everything opens perfectly. The problem is that when I edit the text and open the game, it sends me an error and the game dies. I would like you to help me to fix this please.

Hi, Im currently working on the Kirigiri Sou tlp but I came to a dead end. It turned out that non method I could find will work. I guess thats because of the game's own nature. Does someone know something I could maybe try? To the outside file structure: It only consists of an exe, few dll files, some .mov videos and a big .bin file. I tried everything but somehow it doesnt work. I would be gratefull for every help.

I am trying to create an Espanish translation of the game Eroge! H mo Game mo Kaihatsu Zanmai I can extract the .YBN files but I have some difficulties to repack them into a .YPF file because it asks me for an 8-bit encryption key and the version of the file. (I am using the GARbro program)

I am working on the translation of a visual novel and I am having difficulties working with the game images (.hg3) I found a way to extract them and convert them to .png but I don't know a method to convert them back to .hg3 format. if anyone has any solution or suggestion I would appreciate it.

I've been interested in translating Kinkoi for years. With the output on Steam I have the opportunity to translate it but it uses Unity. As data in the trial version there are .dat files Do you know of any tools you can use to extract, compile and insert build files?

I'm currently translating the Lune game Youkoso! Sukebe Elf no Mori He. While I have the translation part covered, I don't know the first thing about creating the patch. If anyone can tell me what to do, I would be grateful.

I want to translate an old game: https://vndb.org/v16655 The game basically is a slide show without text file, just a bunch of images with words attached them. So there's no way you can use an auto translate tool to play. I think it'd be nice if I can translate it. This is the file in game: https://ibb.co/r3mLwC6 And these are image files after I extracted Image.dat using AETool: https://ibb.co/2n3TkJs These files are at Teethingring5 Graphic format like you see in this: https://ibb.co/2ZN2xdg Next I change them to BMP or TGA to edit them: https://ibb.co/g7RK8x9 Finally I want to convert them back to Teethingring 5 but no luck and still stuck at this step. If somebody know how to please teach me. Any help is appreciated!
