I played Muv-Luv Alternative last year during the summer. I loved every damn minute of it. The beginning was weird and all but once that incident that happens on 12/5 begins it changed my view about the whole series - story - characters, pretty much everything. Anyways! Yesterday I came back to Fuwanovel to see what's new and I saw Chronicles Volume 1 released. I stopped all my manga and anime and downloaded it and began playing it. I haven't finished it. I'm like 4 or 6 hours deep. I heard it's very short but I so don't care! I went a little overboard and went on a shopping spree for all the Muv-Luv stuff. :/ I even see that light novel this one and it took my breath away. I love the suits. I'm not a fan of mecha stuff, but Muv-Luv is an exception because of the depth and structure of the plot. I see that someone's working on Chronicles volume 2. >_<! Give it to Tatsu!!!!!!! Playing Chronicles Volume 1 is killing me again to play Muv-Luv Alternative all over again ... I played it twice, the second time I stopped before that PSTD phase (extreme gore and really fucked up scenes, can't handle it well). Oh yea, a new visual novel called Schwarzesmarken is in development by age. It's suppose to be out next year. The official site is here. I'm looking forward to it! Okay, yeah, whatever. Ok! So, i got this https://fuwanovel.net/novels/muv-luv and i used the bundled installer... after an awful lot of trouble, i still cant get it to detect the second disk. I've tried several different versions of Daemontools, I've trued running the installer as admin, Japanese locale admin... it just gets to the point where it asks for disk 2, and refuses to accept I've mounted it. I do have trouble with installing these sorts of Japanese games (i took a while to figure out Artificial Academy) but this time I'm actually following the install guide properly. Is this a common issue? I've also re downloaded it a few times as well, verifying download... I would genuinely appreciate any help

Hi! i finished Muv-Luv extra a while ago (had to spend time finishing all the routes) and i started muv-luv unlimited earlier today and i am somewhat far in But my main question is does Takeru get home? i don't want any plot details just a simple yes or no would be ok i usually don't like spoilers but it's bugging me because i would of loved a follow on to the routes :') would of been nice and so far when looking at the other game's it only lists being after unlimited :S thanks in advance ^.^

Similar to https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/517-muv-luv-installation-issues/ followed pdf guide, checked anti-virus, runnig win7-64 Error: loader couldn't initialize service! comes up at the end of installation (after Step 3). If i ignore this and continue with patch the game would not open with the same error (rUGP Inst does not pop up). Also tried installing Alternative, and the data error in Japanese occurs.

I'm pretty sure this was already covered several times around this forum, and I tried using the search engine, I really did. Anyways, Can I play Muv-Luv Alternative as-is or should I play Muv-Luv first? And even if I can, does playing the prequel adds much to the experience of Alternative? Is it worth it? Help plz
