Nosebleed Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Better ban Date A Live II and not the first one. Good job mate. And hey at least they banned School Days so that's always a positive. Helvetica Standard 1 Quote
monkeysrumble Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Why do they list second seasons specifically? Should I assume that they also mean the first season as well? Quote

solidbatman Posted June 9, 2015 Author Posted June 9, 2015 Sequels are just shameful capitalistic dog tactics to squeeze more money out of the Proletariat and keep them underneath the one percent. China is just fighting the good fight joehawks12, Andreas, Fiddle and 1 other 4 Quote
sub-zer0 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Wait....so it's mostly violent and sexual content they are banning....but where is mirai nikki, that stuff is messed up...I had to stop watching after 5 episodes.... Quote

Nosebleed Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if they are banning these for endorsing right wing views... somehow, rather than porn/violence. Date A Live endorses polygamy, something China definitely doesn't want or need right now. Death Note showcases how a normal human being can have the power of a god. This obviously goes against the chinese president. Black Butler promotes homosexuality, and we all know that's the most vile thing in the world. Highschool DxD promotes promiscuous sexual behavior. That's 2lewd4me. Etc joehawks12, AaronIsCrunchy, Silvz and 1 other 4 Quote

Nayleen Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I'd imagine Attack on Titan to be banned mostly on matters of graphical depictions of the Titans themselves (remember the Undead issue they had with WoW?), they're just incredibly sensitive when it comes to that kind of stuff. Quote
RinXD Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 You all are forgetting one important aspect here the Chinese Government hates Japan and anything from it Zalor 1 Quote
Zakamutt Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Well, I gotta say mnemosyne sure matches their criteria Quote
XReaper Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 It is? how lovely love is portrayed these days, its almost as if the chicks gonna kill him if he doesn't love her back, but I'm pretty sure that is just a cover up for how much she loves him. Quote

starlessn1ght Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Basically China bans all action animes. The only ones who don't get hurt are the romcom or SoL fans. Quote
Nashetania Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 How did SAO II managed to get banned? I don't think it was THAT bad, lol. Quote
