vinnces Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) They just added the Vita physical ver. on KS. It's either $80 or the $150 Collector edition. Now I gotta decide if I want the Vita or PC physical. With the addition of Vita physical copies, I'm sold. Personally I'd much rather play visual novels on the vita due to its portability. PC is slowly turning into portable. I recently bought a Samsung ATIV tablet PC and thats how I read my visual novels on the go (reading Princess Evangile on it atm). Youre kinda limiting yourself by being portable AND small on the vita. Visual novel heroines and Waifus deserve a bigger screen than that.... I actually wanted the physical Vita ver. just for my collection. Since they are giving a digital ver. of both the PC and Vita I doubt I'm gonna be opening it. Edited October 12, 2015 by vinnces Quote
BookwormOtaku Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Since I've already increased my pledge to $150 so I'll get the collector's edition for PC plus the stretch goal stuff, I intend to hold off on getting the Vita versions until later with the backerkit when I can be sure if I can fit that into my budget or not. Same with most of my visual novels. They just ended up on my shelves unopened. When I have kids of my own, I'm gonna show them this and be like, "Hun, thats your where your mom wasted her money on when she was young. Sorry that youre not going to a better school." vinnces Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I actually open them sometimes when I'm in the mood for some new plastic smell. Same with my figures~ Quote
CeruleanGamer Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 If it's like limited edition/collector's edition stuff and biggest hit game for its time, I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. The value is immediately ruined even with just a tiny scratch on the plastic/box. I have a couple games for Atari that are worth $12,000 nowadays on the market when left unopened. Some games are better off as a conversation piece than playing them if you have a second copy/digital copy anyway. Quote

Maxel Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I think they just dropped a bomb on all the Muv-Luv backers/potential backers... Quote
Toranth Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Oh, frick those punks. Just sell the damned Codex by itself, you bastards! They finally reveal something I'm interested in, and it probably isn't going to happen. Quote
vinnces Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Gonna force me to up my $150 to $300. Gonna do it near the end though since budget is tight with Fallout 4 coming out a week after... Quote
StormShaun Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Eleven days for nineteen grand. All for Photon Melodies and Photon Flowers. Then A little less than 200,000 for all of that. Why must you do this to us?! Then there is Fallout 4 and such. Annoyingly enough, I can't imagine reaching the last goal, still, it would be a bitter sweet victory for myself, for I like the branch and extras I've chosen. Quote
MercyZombie Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm going to back this project and I do really look forward to seeing it released. But I do have one question after seeing that figurine. Why do their uniforms have what I can only refer to as boob sockets? it looks really weird. Quote

Why do their uniforms have what I can only refer to as boob sockets? it looks really weird. If you play the novel you will find out why do they have that "socket" uniform.they force the girls to use that uniform when they are training (yes later on they dont use it anymore they start using the violet one which is used only by graduated TSFs pilots ) because it helps to not feel shame in front of each others, is like they force them to create a bond in the team so they can fight better."The form-hugging suit also has another psychological function; to represent equality and tear down such civilian thoughts like modesty in-between man and woman, since the battlefield makes distinction for neither." MercyZombie Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 If you play the novel you will find out why do they have that "socket" uniform.Hidden Content Huh... They put surprisingly a lot of thought into explaining their fanservice. I'll just imagine explaining that to someone not used to anime/visual novels Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'll just imagine explaining that to someone not used to anime/visual novelsThat explanation will struggle to wash even in the anime/VN community, let alone people not used to it xD MercyZombie 1 Quote

Takeru entering in the bathroom when sumika is there or watching kasumi sleeping without a doubt is fan service Quote
jetpack003 Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I wonder if it's possible to reach $900,000 in under two weeks even with the final surge coming in the last few days. Quote

Deep Blue Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) such a long quote I'm going to do it this way @WinterfuryZX, yep males too but there are no males (training to be pilots) because they are all dead or fighting the war already and yeah takeru was lucky because of that. Edited October 23, 2015 by Deep Blue Quote
WinterfuryZX Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Nope, even if they're the minority due to hevy losses, there are still plenty of male eishis. Quote
Deep Blue Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 mmm I'm not so sure, pilots yes but training to be pilots don't think so, in one point someone explains to you that only the girls are training to become eishi because males are (or at least most of them) already fighting the war, but i could be wrong, cant remember exactly to be honest. WinterfuryZX Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm pretty sure TakeRu meets with other random male cadets during unlimited and alternative. Quote
atorq Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm pretty sure TakeRu meets with other random male cadets during unlimited and alternative.I'm fairly certain that all the males he meets have already been promoted or graduated or whatever you want to call it. Quote
Crimrui Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Expensive stuff... at least for me. And Sumika figma? Don't like her all that much, but it will be good for those that want it I guess. But I doubt we will hit the final stretch goal anyway. And speaking of figures, I'm quite satisfied with my Cryska and Yui figmas, standing proudly on my shelf. ˇˇI seriously envy to people who can pledge 300$ and above for this. You're filthy rich...
