Just finished Riho's route in Deardrops.  I like it!  I like the characters of Deardrops much more than the ones from Kira Kira, I actually kinda neglected other important things because of it

Playing Divi-Dead, so far it's not bad at all but it is going a bit too slowly for my tastes. Map movement is awful, both because it is terribly implemented (seriously, 10 or so locations and almost no hint of where you have to go?) and also makes the story go even slower.

Currently reading grisaia. Yumiko finished, though bad end not started yet (too many feels). Now going for Michiru, skipping through common.

Finished Akatsuki no goei, Tsuki's route. It was heart choking ha ha ha. It's a good vn. I will read some of the other routes later. 8.5/10 in score imo, I wonder if the other routes are better hmm..

 

Currently starting on Eden* They were only two, on the planet.

I was plenty annoyed with trying to get it to install. I had to put the crack patch in xp sp 3 compabillity mode for it to work. Grrrr!!! Oh well it works now.

First time I played that was on my PSP, one of the few games that was adapted (crashed a lot) to the PSP on an emulator all those years ago. I still have a fond memory of it,

It's really funny.  The whole thing is just so over the top...

 

Plus, I feel I'm going to like every girl in this game.

Out of curiosity, how's the MG version?...

Does it keep all the outrageous lines like Sia's dad saying "I'll teach them that they can experience hell without having to die first--with my fist!"

I guess they kept the original game's OP because it already had English in it? (sort of)

Does each of the choices popup still say "Please Choose Your Destiny"?  I like that...

Finished MangaGamer's Bukkake Ranch today.

Surprisingly good game for SHS/MG.

 

All heroines (even maou) have decent personalities and didn't irritate me. Protag is reasonable. H-scenes were enjoyable and were very varied in fetishes.

All 3 endings were quite satisfying and some of them were much more better than I expected.

Gameplay isn't as fun as alchemy game should be, but its not too tedious and time limit isn't very pressing.

 

Only major downside is H-scenes CG: "uncensored" genitals are very weird-looking and I'd prefer original mosaics.

 

Its real mystery for me why so many vndb users rate it below generic tasteless porn.

Sachi is the bestest ever. Too cute. Though...

Make sure you see the bad end this time. It's not good at all (unlike Makina's) but it is worth it.

Starting Kara no Shoujo, though I probably won't get far into it until my exams finish later this week.

 

Gadget Trial was interesting but had very little story and became incredibly repetitive near the end. I don't regret playing it though.

I am playing If My Heart Had Wings right now. Still in the first route (Kotori) but all the characters are amazing.

 

Hey, should I play Amane's or Ageha's after Kotori's route?

And can you tell me how many H-Scenes there are in every route?

Finished Sachi. Bad was pretty bad, as mentioned; Good was pretty damn good. Feels. Probably the best feels you can get without playing the nakige formula hardcore, really.

I also personally disagree with batman's spoiler somewhat. In fact, there is even some interesting meta-story relevance to facets of them, which you no doubt saw (that said it was very obvious)

 

Gonna go for Amane as my second-to-last route. She seems more interesting than Makina to me; just like shocks on IRC, I prefer onee-sans to imoutos.

Rewrite was probably my least favorite Key VN. Lucia's route was awesome though, so i'm kinda sad her route's author didn't do anything else for it.

Annnd done with Ever17.

 

The last route was satisfying. It does make up for the first four routes that were okay but not outstanding. I was expecting more mind-blowing twists, but it was still quite impressive to see how everything fell into place.

 

I don't really like the process that justifies a posteriori why some things didn't make sense at the time or why some character acted in an illogical way, because before you get the explanation it's immersion-disrupting to see something that just seems like a blatant error.

But pretty much everything was explained in the end, so I can't complain too much. It still took until the last epilogue for the characters to grow on me. Cutting some redundancy in the text to allow more character development might have been better.

 

So.

What do I play now? My backlog is loaded but I still need to pick one...
