While this could be a marketing ploy to draw attention to the other Sakura games, there's a distinct possibility that this game will use the "free-to-play" model and try to milk players using a cash shop and various pay-to-win incentives--similar to how Nutaku's games work.  Although this game seems too superficial to pull that off effectively, as it's not even clear that you'll be able to save your progress.

The game looks to literally a rip of Steam's summer monster click game thingy they did except with boobs. I don't think you'll see that sort of stuff happening

The steam monster game was hardly the first of its kind, there have been identical clicker games two or three years ago. This has basically become a genre of its own now, except innovation is limited and it's essentially just a bunch of games plastering a different coat of paint over the exact same game.

I'll laugh if the game has a stamina meter limiting the number of clicks / encounters--refillable with in-game purchases of course.

To be fair, I was quite impressed with the sheer depth of the game that the trailer promised. I mean, you can click, and boobs, and then if you click some more, boobs STILL HAPPEN.

Boobs still happen, but a bit more slowly, provided you're more than a minute or two into the game. It's really quite the ingenious boob delivery system.

The more Sakura stuff I see, the more I like to imagine that they have us caught in the long con.  That all of their sweaty shiny boobs money is being stashed away somewhere to hire an actual writer to pen a legitimately great story to go alongside their art (which regardless of how you feel about the company as a whole, I think it can be safely agreed that the artist could be doing so much better, whoever you are sir/ma'am please raise your standards and throw yourself behind a good writing team), and once its released and people go to review it ironically only to realize, "sweet shit, this is amazing!"  The internet goes nuts because people can't believe that it's actually good, and it spreads like wildfire, sales go through the roof, the Visual Novel community is saved by the second coming of OLEVNs!  Men weep openly in the streets without shame or fear, sunlight bursts through the clouds with a chorus of rainbows and song!  All the praises of the world are song to Winged Cloud and lauded for the achievements and accolades no one ever thought they could possibly earn!

 

Or they just want to milk the sweaty shiny boobs money cow for as much as they can until the novelty wears down.

Well, if they choose to use boobs to gather cash for future, more interesting projects, they wouldn't be the first.  After all, that is what Front Wing does with its nukige and any number of older companies that now produce primarily moege or even story-focused VNs started out producing nukige.   'Sex sells' is one of the few absolute laws of entertainment, lol.

 

Edit:  Here's to hoping that they are the next Front Wing.  I'd love to see another series like Grisaia born out of the worthless trash of mindless boobs.
