sanahtlig Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Oh my, shots fired it seems. I'm equally amused at thoughtless assumptions. Consider, for a second, that "enough time" has past for the developer to improve how they create games. Graphics alone is irrelevant - rather, I'm solely commenting on the age difference, and the time they've had to improve their overall product design. Quote
Suzu Fanatic Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Snip! EDIT: . Sorry to have gone so offtopic Decay. Regardless, hope you're right, and it comes out soon(ish). Quote
Down Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Friendly reminder to stay civil in your discussions. Else... Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I'd probably be in my "nicer" promotional mode if pre-orders had started and this was my topic. But they haven't and it's Decay's topic, so I don't feel any need to wear that mask today. Besides, I've offered a bit of content with each jab to soften the blow. Y-you should be grateful! Suzu Fanatic Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Bleh, I shouldn't let such jabs bother me anyway - it's the internet - it's gonna happen. Just a bit cranky today I guess. A-and you did provide some insight regarding Xuse, I admit. Quote
Crayten Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 So i guess at this point we can assume that Seinarukana gonna delayed into October. Quote
Decay Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 Well, if we want to continue to be optimistic, Romanesque's release date was announced only two weeks before its projected date (that eventually got delayed another week). JAST doesn't seem to have much rhyme or reason to its release schedule. edit: As far as I understand, and I might not be understanding this right, the game is finalized and the discs are either printed or are currently being printed, and the only thing they have to actually to arrange is the LE pack-in materials and I don't really know how long that process takes. But that was the status a week ago, so if it is an october release, hopefully it's early. Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Seinarukana is comprised of 12 chapters + prologue. If JAST sold this game digitally by chapter (the prologue and Ch. 1 could be offered as a free demo), they could price each chapter at around $4 each. That could very well be a price point that Steam users and other casual users would buy into--even if the game weren't sold on Steam. Darklord Rooke 1 Quote
CeruleanGamer Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I dislike gameplay elements in VN so I will probably skip this one Why? It definitely beats clicking/pressing enter all day or not doing anything while everything is on Auto. Btw, will this be the All-Ages version? /derp Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I don't think a non-adult version of Seinarukana will even be released in English. Quote
CeruleanGamer Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Ah ok. I thought it's gonna be like Aselia where they removed the sexual content and the evil protagonist route. Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 JAST released the non-adult version of Aselia due to the loli content. They did it for legal reasons. Sadly the loli in Seinarukana isn't H-able. Quote
XReaper Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 havent played/read it yet, due to reasons unbeknownst to me and expected it having similar content as aselia´s uncut version, which i had much fun with - kinda sad now when reading there´s no h-able loli...*cries abit inside Quote
CeruleanGamer Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 well thats good. I prefer when content or at least a good majority of it stays intact and not get censored. Quote
