I am looking for comedy visual novels, something hilariously gut splitting funny.

Can be both translated and non-translated visual novels.

Well, I think part of that depends on what you consider to be funny. Do you like slice of life scenarios? Dark humor? Dramatic irony?

I haven't really thought about it. I just want something that is funny, it can be pretty much anything as long as there is lots of funny comedy in it. It can be slice-of-life, slapstick or whatever.

You can recommend whatever you think is funny, I'll check it out and see.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, but it's a shame that there is a route that hasn't been translated, when it is one of the most important routes in my opinion

Ren'ai 0 Kilometer is pretty fun. Haven't read the other game from ASa Project - Hitotsu Tobashi Ren'ai, but people say it's quite fun too. Also Akatsuki no Goei series has hilarious dialogues and characters, so you can give it a shot.

I play Hitotsu Tobashi Ren'ai, it's fun from start to the end. I like games from ASa Project.

Koiiro soramoyou from Studio Ryokucha is funny and have good story too.

Key VNs are mostly Nakiges. It makes you on the first half and it makes you cry on the other. Little Busters! have more comedy stuff than Rewrite.
