VNs with children.

Stilll building my backlog, 50+ is not enough.

I'm looking for strong children characters.
Something like Suzuha in Hoshizora No Memoria, or even protags' sister in Yume Miru Kursui.

It simply has too be a good written enjoyable character. Preferable with large presence, but not 'romantically' involved. But if this cannot be obtained then I will endure the h-scenes on ctrl-skip and just enjoy the rest. (like Mare in Hoshizora)

And it somehow 'clicked' with me. I really like children (when they're not crying and screaming and pissing themselves all the time) in RL, so I would really like to read something, (everything from not very hard nukige, through 'classical' charage, to hard s-f is fine) with kid character. Could me male, or female.

I heard that Sharin No Kuni has a kid, is that right?

The only ones I can remember are Clannad and Rewrite, both from Key. However, you have to read A LOT before getting to the children. In Clannad, only during After Story, and Rewrite, in Terra

Yuni, from remember 11 is an important character to the plot, and he's absolutely great, from giving you chills to making you fawn over him.

Swan Song has Aroe, a child with with a mental disability (I think severe autism?) 

She has heartwarming moments, though beware the bad ending if you like child characters.

Sekien no Inganock has Kia, a really important character to the cast that gives life to the people around her.

...This list could go on endlessly (I actually wrote 10 more VNs before deleting them), but I'll restrain myself because the list would get pointless. I'd look into those 3.

yep sharinno kuni has a child. katahane, air, narcissu 2nd, fate stay night, lamune (you play a big part of the novel as a little kid),Juniper's Knot the MC is a kid, ever 17 (coco is not a kid but she acts like one and she is really funny)

edit: forgot I was playing a vn with a kid on it xD umineko..maria is probably one of the best child characters on a vn

I fucking love you Kaguya. This, thousands of times this. Best VN I've read on PC. So fucking good and yeah the child character is amazing. And you even like the OP. You're my hero, finally someone acknowledges this friggin gem.

oh, yeah, how could I forget Katahane? One of the best stories that I've read (and it isn't as loved/famous as it should). The main characters are all children

Haha. I significantly like it over the other entries in the infinity series. No clue why it didn't get as popular as Ever17 around fuwa.

The cast of Ever17 probably appealed more to people thanks to its romance-based nature. There's also the fact that it's older, and maybe its affiliation with Zero Escape helped.

More people play charage etc. than atmospheric hard sci-fi like R11, unfortunately. :/

E17 has a much better votes on vndb too. There is not that many VNs with most popular grade '10'.

You would love the kid in Aster, better learn Japanese.

Sharin no Kuni does have a kid but she's annoying. Also has an H-scene in the fandisk.

She is not.
After first 'main' chapter with her sister heroine, this kid clearly is best character in whole, very dissapointing overall, VN.

R11 is a mess, but a fine mess indeed. Its story isn't clearly resolved, but it has probably the best atmosphere and immersion ever -beating Ever 17. Sadly, the details are confusing, contradictory, or just not well-thought enough.
