Dergonu Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Finally got access to the sadpanda like a few weeks ago after months of waiting, (and it´s amazing ) Got a question though, how exactly does the access work? Is it based off the account, so you can access it from anywhere with the activated account, or is it linked to the IP adress that made the account? Will trying to access the site from a different IP with my account have any negative effect, like having it be closed? (Don´t want to lose this now that I finally have access to it ) Quote
john 'mr. customer' smith Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 i think that may be a secret that people aren't supposed to give out for legal reasons Quote
KuroganeHomura Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It's linked to the account only, your current IP doesn't matter. So long as you're able to log in, you'll be able to ride the panda. Dergonu 1 Quote

Kaguya Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 The thing with sadpanda is that basically, the advertisers didn't want to have anything to do with the sensitive content that is allowed there, as far as I know. So they let it separate from the main site. Dergonu 1 Quote
sanahtlig Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It involves an account + cookies. If you clear your cookies and don't follow the proper steps, you'll get blocked by a sentry cookie. That sentry cookie will keep blocking that PC until removed. Quote

madvanced Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 It's per account, well I was never barred from it because 6+ year old account, so I can't really understand the struggles. Also @Kaguya, it's advertiser and copyright related, well that last bit is a bit controversial now since the wani magazine hit on July of 2013, being the first ever H-content to not be allowed on sad panda due to copyright related matters.
