Most VNs with h scenes I've read have done well with the art, it's usually the dialogue that gets annoying.

Which is why I love Everlasting Summer's take on it - no text, just some h-scenes giving you the point of what just happened. Done. Only problem is some people don't care for the art in Everlasting Summer.

And I don't fap to VNs. I have completely different material for that sort of thing.

I suggest Sekien no Inganock. It has three H scenes, if I remember correctly. I believe them all to be rather important to the story, and I found none of them to be overly oriented towards "fanservice". It's also a beautiful game in many ways and well worth anybody's time, IMO.

Yeah, all of the Steampunk games do H-scenes really well. Out of the translated ones Inganock has probably the best H-scenes (in terms of artistic merit, or whatever), but the rest are not bad either. These scenes are more about the emotional distance between the characters and their inner turmoil, rather than the act in question. Being narrated from the female perspective also adds pretty unique feel to them.

YU-NO has some h-scenes that are like "let's violate common sense AND laws of physics to have a hot-ass h-scene"

And some h-scenes that are like ";_; yes, YES I WILL"

and then there is a PARTICULAR one which made me go "are you fucking serious, Takuya"

Worth a look.

your best bet is probably ef a fairy tale of the two, but never ended up finishing it so wouldn't know.  The h scenes with the main heroine in cartagra were also romantic

I don't know... emotional H-scenes don't abound.

About H-scenes I found hot... I liked Tsuzumi in "Period" [if you play it, don't you mind she turns into a loli at the end], and Sarina's goodbye one in Kira*Kira [banging in public restroom against the wall, hmmmm]. Also there's another improptu banging in Kira*Kira that's really cool, involving a gig organizer IIRC.
