2016 like a whole seems weak in interesting releases, the only titles that seem to stand out is Akeiro Kakitan and Island, but every year i have this sensation lol

In the terms of "good games" or "enjoyable" this year is / was pretty satisfying ( or at least for me) with Maitetsu, Sengoku X, Noraneko, Gin'iro Haruka, Sora no Tsukurikata, Senren Banka, Baldr Heart, Senmomo, the four games you guys counted etc., and there're still many games I'm looking forward like Asa Project's one, Amakano plus, Karenai Sekai, Shinsou Noise, Hoshi Furu Yoru no Farnese. Well it may not count as a good year at being "unique" or "interesting", but overall I'd count it as a nice one.

Depends on how many non nukige actually came out...

Actually, I'm glad an august title is the top seller with almost twice copies sold than the 2nd.
