Naoe Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Is there an anime (or i guess anything for that matter...) that you enjoy, but you know full well that the majority of people either dislike or hate it? Quote
mitchhamilton Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 hmm, i wonder where this question is coming from? hmm, i honestly cant think of any myself. >.< Naoe 1 Quote
EastCoastDrifter Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) Date A Live and Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance are my guilty pleasures because I've enjoyed those very much. I've heard that the latter was very poorly received in the west, and the former was bashed for its mediocre premise with Kurumi being its only saving grace. And Black Bullet too, though I've only read the light novel. I like it for its dark story and Mr. Joker impersonator Kagetane, but nearly everyone hates it for being an "Attack on Titan ripoff" and lolis. Edited December 4, 2016 by KonpekiUmi DarkZedge 1 Quote

pik3rob Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) Yosuga no Sora. There's barely anything wrong with it in my eyes. The drama was never complicated enough for me to feel like it was overdone, the incest was handled very well, they actually incorporate the sex into the plot, and I like how they use the omnibus format to shed light on other arcs, rather than have them not be connected at all. It easily gets an 8/10 from me. Edited December 6, 2016 by pik3rob ShinRaikdou, PapaRabbi and Suzu Fanatic 3 Quote
Dergonu Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Sword art online is my absolute favorite anime of all time. To me it's a clear cut 10/10. Needless to say, people who don't like the anime thinks I'm crazy. But hey, who cares what other people thinks. As long as you enjoy something, that's all that matters. Suzu Fanatic and Naoe 2 Quote
Nobody~~ Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 My guilty pleasure is guilty crown. Seriously, haven't found anyone who enjoyed it from begining to end. Quote
Zebhra Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) I really like Naruto Also, MIchiru - best route Edited December 4, 2016 by Zebhra Quote
Barktooth Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 I gave Pandora Hearts a 10/10, but most people would say the anime is a pretty crappy adaptation. Granted, this was one of the first few anime I watched, so maybe if I saw it now I wouldn't like it so much. Quote
AaronIsCrunchy Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Not particularly, although I do like Haganai more than I'm happy to readily admit Quote
Narcosis Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Kanokon. There are only two kinds of people - those who liked it and those who pretend to hate it with a burning passion john 'mr. customer' smith 1 Quote
Silvz Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 I loved Aku no Hana, but I think I was the only one. Quote
Fred the Barber Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 It's been years since I watched it, but I think the "exams" arcs in Naruto are really good. Quote
Limerence_ Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 I liked Gakkou Gurashi quite a lot, though I can't seem to find people who feel the same. Quote

There are only two kinds of people - those who liked it and those who pretend to hate it with a burning passion I'm going to assume that's mostly because of your love of kitsune, but I have to say, out of all ecchi harems I've watched, Kanokon was the only one that I thought was actually decently written (not that I would know), and wasn't just endlessly recycled blueballing gags with girls wanting the mc's D for no reason. For me, it's Ponyo. I don't know about casual watchers, but I think most serious anime/Miyazaki fans don't like it. I personally think it's the purest example of what's great about his style, and it's my favourite of his films because of that. Edited December 4, 2016 by john 'mr. customer' smith Quote

Eclipsed Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Charlotte. I hadn't watched animu for like 6 months prior to watching it so i thought it was pretty good Queue all the elite veterans who watch 48/14 and so it was the same old same old unoriginal regurgitated trash Key garbage Quote
TexasDice Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) I only seem to watch anime nobody cares or at least knows about. That's better than hate I guess, but I actually can't talk about them with anyone, because nobody gives a shit. Edited December 5, 2016 by TexasDice Quote
Firemonk Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I might seem basic but..... I fell in fucking love with sword art online....... call me basic if you want Quote
Benji Price Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 My favorite anime and manga of all times is Fairy Tail, haven't seen others like it. Also liked a lot Rakudai Kishi no Calvalry, the fighting system was awesome, and the main character has the same name than my favorite Saint Seiya character (Ikki). I pray to all gods that a 2nd season comes soon, since the light novel is pretty advanced). Also Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance was similar and also liked it. Quote
