I get this error when I shall try install Hatsukoi 1/1

try "setting up the game" or maybe doing a rewrite, that fixed a lot of the SiglusEngine problems

I would say that Siglus engine was quite hard to overcame here. I said that because I also had same experience as you. Anyway, for now I would just recommend you to installing Kyou's patch first (Fresh one), then see if it's work or not. Hope it'll be help.

Most of us had these problems here, we all fixed them in different ways, I rewrote the damn thing, to find that there is a patch that could fix it slightly angers me

Just use the alpharom correctly. It will fix it all...

I don't know what you can do wrong when you just need to open the game with the alpharom.

For the last resort here, you could try my patch here. For the patch, just double click LSE_PREV and select Launcher from Hatsukoi folder (ie after apply Kyou patch). Hope it'll be help.

Hey guys. I'm having the same problem as the OP (the error of the 1st post).

Any way of solving this?

I logged in just to nofiy you guys you just have to delete save files in your c//users//documents//toneworks//hatsukoi//savedata

I think you might have figured it out by now but if not it goes like this when you open the game without the patch it creates save files and after you patch those old save files do not recognize the new files and the game cant access to save files so it cant start properly. You just have to delete everything and the game works just fine.

Hello! I have decided to reinstall this game after five years but I have come across the same problem OP did what did you mean by "try setting up the game". I have clicked on the setup file inside the virtual disk but it just gives a different error. Unfortunately my original solution didn't work either.

ill be honest, don’t remember what i was talking about here. my best advice would be to follow what @littleshogun said and install the patch freshly, then do the fix you found yourself where you delete the old save game. if none of that works then i can try to help if you can let me see the new message
