Yotek Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Hey all, as usual here's my once a year post before I go back to lurking again. Today at ACEN was the Denpasoft panel. Below are the videos from today. I recommend sticking around for the Q&A, it gets funny and weird. I'll post pictures later when I'm not drunk/tired. Tomorrow is Sekai Project and Mangagamer. I'll add them when I can. Denpasoft Sekai Project ManagaGamer Pictures! Vorathiel and Dergonu 2 Quote
kyrt Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Cool looks like I can finally buy G-Senjou no Maou if the game ends up not being horribly cropped. Honestly I'm quite glad they finally gave denpasoft a panel...about damn time. Dergonu 1 Quote
littleshogun Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Thanks for the thread. Anyway, we apparently already saw Denpasoft announcement which is 18+ subsidiary for Sekai iirc. As for my comment, quite mixed to be honest but at least we got one new partner there. For Wagahigh, at least it got 18+ version if I may say something. G-Senjou ummmm....., at least they'll be able to buy uncensored version legally I suppose (It's very redundant if I may blunt). The new announcement was Re:Lord, and looks like it'll be had some kind of gameplay (Albeit ecchi one, stripping). Looks good, but apparently it's still the first part of trilogy so not interested. Well, that's all for now and I'll looking what Sekai and Mangagamer will offer later. Quote

kyrt Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Sekai Project just announced the Hoshizora no Memoria kickstarter with the potential for the fan disc as an add-on. Which means you'll have to pay extra for it even if you back the main game. I honestly don't really support kickstarters anymore but the good news is that the game is also coming to denpasoft so I'll just wait for that. Denpasoft @Denpasoft_pr 2h2 hours ago There will be a full uncensored version on Denpasoft with the H scenes included! Re;Lord is also getting a sekai Project steam version Quote
Tatanka82 Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Wait why again a Kickstarter??? I thought the game is already retranslated? (I just wait till they announce a Sakusaku Kickstarter too....) Quote

RikiSanic Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 They're not really advertising it that much but I noticed this note on the stretch goal section. If I'm interpreting it correctly, it looks like you'll be able to get the complete box for $60 without any digital items for those who are interested in that. Quote

They explicitly state that they've already obtained the money required to translate the original VN, and the money is for making physical copies and producing other physical goods. SP confirmed that physical copies will be 18+. Think I might actually back this one Oh thank you I guess I should inform myself better ^-^ Quote
Yotek Posted May 20, 2017 Author Posted May 20, 2017 Based on what they have been saying it sounds like the biggest issues they have are costs related to physical copies. Thus, the kickstarters. I'll have Sekai Project panel up tonight so people can interpret it themsleves. Quote
littleshogun Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 (edited) Finally had Mangagamer announcement, and .....let's just said that at least we had Funbag Fantasy fandisc (Sideboob Story) there if you interested with that franchise. The other announcement was from Atelier Sakura, and it was another NTR called Marina's Cuckolding Report. Well I didn't expect much from Mangagamer at this announcement anyway in the first place, although at least it was no hardcopy announcement like last year if I may say something. PS - Here's their tweets for the proof. https://mobile.twitter.com/MangaGamer/status/866108265633107969 https://mobile.twitter.com/MangaGamer/status/866108682756608002 Edited May 21, 2017 by littleshogun Quote
kyrt Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Mangagamer seems to have used ACEN primarily for their nukige as they announced Funbag Fantasy Sideboob Stories and Marina's Cuckolding Report. (neither link is sfw) Bit disappointing but then they usually save the good stuff for AX and Otakon anyway. Quote

I don't see that on the kickstarter page tho. Just the $90 for the physical copies. Which I think is ridiculous when MG does their physical copies for $50 and that includes art book and ost disc. Unless the fan disc is guaranteed to be included. Edited May 21, 2017 by Erogamer Quote
Decay Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 FYI "Sideboob Story" is more of a proper sequel than a fandisc, as far as I'm aware. It's Kyonyuu Fantasy Gaiden, which it and its further sequel are considered the best games in the series, with more actual story in addition to the copious amounts of titties. Quote
Tyr Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Announcing Marina kinda proves my hypothesis that Mangagamer isn't really interested in bringing NTR eroge to the west. They are only interested in bringing cuckold nukige (meaning consensual adultery aka the most boring subgenre of NTR) since that is a porn genre already established here and normies are familiar with the concept. But NTR games with actual drama, meaningful relationship problems, suspense, angst ... you know, all the good stuff? Eh, probably not. vkalvkal and Swim Swim 2 Quote

Eh, probably not. You want to confront this special snowflake generation that only plays these games for wish fulfillment to get a taste of reality? Might as well tell teenagers to play games instead of looking at them on Youtube. Or tell fat people to run a marathon. Or otakus to get a real life and a GF/BF/*F. One does not simply put reality in something used to flee from it. And let's be honest: Eroge/VNs turned into nothing more than "AnImU-BEEWBs" or "I-want-a-gril-but-will-never-get-on-in-reality-cuz-I'm-weird-and-or-ugly: The Relationship Simulator". It's on the image for the Eternal Heart TL stretch goal, right underneath the section which lists the contents of the upgraded box. I have no idea what you're talking about. Way to be condescending. How about being helpful and friendly Mr. Mod instead of treating others like they are idiots. I see it now. It is not in the actual tiers. So for $60 which gets you the Complete Box set, you get eternal heart? Edited May 21, 2017 by Erogamer Quote
Yotek Posted May 21, 2017 Author Posted May 21, 2017 Sorry for the wait, took 6 hours to upload on my horrible internet connection. Also... anyone else think only of Tay and his trolls when they saw Sekai Projects "Maiden Voyage".... Videos for Sekai project and MangaGamer have been added to the main post as well as a picture of their booths and discount codes. I'll be at the con again today and they close at 4pm. If anyone has questions they want me to ask let me know and I'll see what I can do. Please no mean questions and make them easy to see. I'll be in a sea of 30,000 people. Vorathiel 1 Quote

Sad world we live in. Quote
