I'm not so sure about that, considering how many people play Nekopara without noticing anything wrong with the scenario presented to them, I'm pretty sure large percentage of them would have little problems with buying an artificial, conscient sex-slave and keeping it as a quasi-house pet, unless the social stigma would deter them from doing so.

I also have a very low opinion of the human race in general, so hopefully I'm just too pessimistic...
