Amethyst Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 I have very little experience with VNs and don't have anyone to help recommend otome games (or BL games) to me! Any recommendations are welcome, thanks! Quote
MaggieROBOT Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 (edited) Since there's no list for BL yet, I'll throw things here! For starters, DRAMAtical Murder is the novel for BL. Super beginners friendly. Lamento is also good, but it's a bit longer. Outside of Nitro+Chiral (the developer of DRAMAtical Murder and Lamento), you can also try Kichiku Megane (art is a bit old style tho) or No Thank You (contains more muscular guys)! DRAMAtical Murder is the definition of beginner friendly. (except Mink's route, but let's not talk about that ) Extra Info:No! Thank You is a Bara\Yaoi hybrid since even the devs reveal that it was made to appeal for both men and woman (from what I heard). Edited January 13, 2018 by Guest Quote
littleshogun Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Didn't knew much about otome here, but I think Norn would be nice because it have Nobuo Uematsu as the composer - only for PSV though. If you okay with older one, then Yojinbo maybe would be a good choice. Also perhaps you should try Starry Sky VN as well. Hope the recommendations would be help. Quote
akaritan Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I like No Thank You as someone who doesn't normally like bl. Make of that what you will. Quote
Sayaka Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 I have literally read only one otomege, and it was Amnesia: Memories. It's made me want to read more otomege myself, is quite cheap on Steam (really cheap on sale), not overly long either. Quote
Thatcomicguy Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 This is always the one of best things to show newbie's with all its useful info but sorry you'll have constantly zoom in and out to read it. Sayaka 1 Quote
