Happiness+ Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 So, I finished Kara no shoujo and phenomeno. I plan on reading Subahibi in the Summer and The second episode of Kara no shoujo. But damn, those games are long as crap. It took me literal weeks to read through Fate/Stay Night. Took me a solid week to read through Kara no shoujo. So before I read those mammoths, I would like to read an visual novel that is no more than 10 hours please. A visual novel that is experimental, radical, artsy, bizarre etc. You know Avant-garde. Bonus points if the visual novel has any these: Horror Philosophy Mindfuck Quote
Ranzo Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) Campus Notes Forget Me Not: It was my first review. Sweetest Monster, Magical Eyes – Red is for Anguish, and Crimson Gray are also worth checking out Oh Phenomeno is also really good as well Edited April 8, 2018 by Ranzo Quote
tymmur Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 The Best Eroge Ever. It's all in the title and the best short VN I can think of. It's even a free download. Quote

VirginSmasher Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Saya no Uta, Kikokugai, and Hanachirasu are really good short VNs to read. Trickay and HMN 2 Quote
littleshogun Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) As for the recommendations, I would seconded both of Saya no Uta and Kikokugai. Also if you're in mood for some utsuge, then I could recommend both of Planetarian and eden. Hope my recommendations will be help. Edited April 8, 2018 by littleshogun Quote
Plk_Lesiak Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) CUPID seems to fit your requirements pretty much perfectly. For something lighter, but still atypical, you could try One Thousand Lies. Edited April 8, 2018 by Plk_Lesiak Quote
Guest Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I'd recommend Makoto Mobius, Phenomeno, Café 0 ~The Drowned Mermaid~, Liar Liar for some dark humor. I second the Saya no Uta recommendations, it is a really nice horror story with lovecraftian traces. Also CUPID seems to be highly acclaimed and it is free, so... Quote
