VoiceSYRT Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I Just Finished Playing Hoshizora No Memoria And I Need A New VN. Requirements: Must Be A STRAIT Romance Must Have More Romance Then Comedy Must Have Male As Playable Character Must Have More Then 3 Girls To Go After Must NOT Have More Bad Ends Then Good Ends. Please Help Me Out Here! Im So Bored xD Also I just finished Playing a Short VN Called May Sky. It Was Pretty Good but only one path no bad ends, basicly it was just a story, but a really good one at that! Quote
Eurobeatz Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Clannad, Kanon, Air, KonoSora, ef -A Tale of Memories-. Quote
Kaguya Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 ef -A Tale of Memories-. I'd like to point out that Ef also has more then one male lead. So you won't have a male as a protag who can go after any of the girls, you'll have a proportional number of males and females and you'll be turning all of them into couples. You also have no choice about which heroine to start from. It is very good though, and it does fit your requirements. I'd also recommend it. there's that new VN,Harukoi Otome. I disliked it, but I tend to dislike the kind of thing you're asking for anyway, so you might like it. There's also School Days HQ (doesn't have the bad ending the anime has, and you'll only get a bad end if you screw up real bad. Getting a harem end is easier than getting a bad end, even if you're aiming for the bad end O.o) but School Days HQ has 2 main heroines and 3 sub heroines. You can get endings with the sub heroines, but it's quite hard. Most of the time you'll be stuck with the main ones unless you use a walkthrough. There's also stuff like Shuffle I guess. To be honest, I'm not really into this kind of VN, so I guess this is the best I can suggest you. I'll also suggest everything that Eurobeatz said, since I know by my own experience that they're all very good. Quote
Snowtsuku Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Ef is something you definitely read. Osadai comes to mind, though it's quite a comedy. I don't really get what is a straight romance though Quote
Zakamutt Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Katawa Shoujo, Kanon (supernatural elements strong in some routes). Hmm, I suppose Symphonic Rain technically counts... I'll just include it because fuckdamn it's good Quote
Sparkker Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Romance... Hmm, Otoboku, Period & Quartet. Quote
shcboomer Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I'd say Kono Sora here or maybe any moege. Although it is hard to find something with more romance than comedy since the majority of the CR is usually broken up by lots of comedy. Quote
Kaguya Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Otoboku Otoboku is technically straight, I guess, so it could enter his requirements, but you have to mention that the protagonist is a trap. So it's trap x woman. Dunno if he's interested in that. Period is fine so I'd also recommend it. Quartet and Symphonic Rain have romance as a focus, but they're also music-focused. Quartet also has a very unique art, and you may dislike it at first. Symphonic Rain is awesome, read it. Quote
Stanleys Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Little Busters, KonoSora, Deardrops, Da Capo, and Da Capo 2 are all good and meet the requirements Quote
nohman Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Already plenty of good suggestions here, but might I suggest Majikoi?. The dynamic between the characters is strong and I found it very satisfying. Only 4 out of the 5 main heroine routes and the teacher side route are translated, though. It might also have more comedy than you'd prefer. Quote
VoiceSYRT Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Ef is something you definitely read. Osadai comes to mind, though it's quite a comedy. I don't really get what is a straight romance though I Meant No Yuri Or Yaoi xD Quote
VoiceSYRT Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Little Busters, KonoSora, Deardrops, Da Capo, and Da Capo 2 are all good and meet the requirements No Thanks With Little Busters... Ive Seen Someone Play The Routes On Youtube, And I Hate Bad Ends. Quote
Kaguya Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 No Thanks With Little Busters... Ive Seen Someone Play The Routes On Youtube, And I Hate Bad Ends. But the endings are quite happy? Kurugaya's good end can only be reached after Refrain but overall, I'd say that the endings are good. Are you sure you're not mistaking it for something else? Quote

shcboomer Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Most VN's have bad ends if you make the wrong choices Yeah most VNs do have bad ends, as long as you don't purposely hit them, you should be fine. Quote

Well I saw a few bad ends when "shiocheerio" played the game on youtube, but if theres a good end for each route, ill be more then happy to play it! Quote
farispie Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Well I saw a few bad ends when "shiocheerio" played the game on youtube, but if theres a good end for each route, ill be more then happy to play it! Man, most of the vns on my vndb are on the darker side and aren't purely romance (ie: action, supernatural, mystery , etc). Technically G Senjou No Maou has 4 good ends, 4 bad ends, and a true end..... Sharin no Kuni has no bad ends, and 5 good ends. Rewrite is a good one, it does have multiple bad ends, but they aren't "full endings" so to speak. They are very short. There are 5 heroines, and their endings range from good to bittersweet. There is also a true ending. STEINS;GATE, but its not soley focused on romance . It basically has an ending for each heroine, and the ending is generally good to bittersweet. There is also a true ending. Quote
shcboomer Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Erm... Thought I'd point out that Sharin no Kuni actually did have bad ends... o.0 Quote
Sparkker Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Sharin has... If I remember it correctly.. Since I needed to go bad end for the 1st heroine(since I forgot her name, Sachi, I think) to get them 2nd H scene. Quote

There is also a true ending. All of those are spectacular VNs (hell, all of them enter my top 15 list. And I've read over 150 VNs) But I wouldn't say romance is their main focus. G-Senjou awesomeness comes from mystery, battle of wits and, to some people, the moral development. Sharin is kind of like G-Senjou. I got far more interested in the workings of that society than the actual heroines. Also, Sharin has bad ends as well. Rewrite is kind of like a fairy tale. You can enter a romantic relationship with the heroines, but there's not much focus on it, except two certain routes. Hell, it even got to the point where in Chihaya's route I was far more interested in Sakuya. Steins Gate is actually my favorite VN. It is a VN that deals extensively with time travel and it's consequences. . And that's it's main focus- romance is somewhat secondary, even though protecting mayuri is a big reason for all of that. Point is, they're all great VNs that I rated as over 8 in 10, but their focus is not really romance. Don't know if that's what the guy is looking for. Quote
Clephas Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Here is a list of romance vns with good story. They are all Japanese-only though. http://vndb.org/v10958 http://vndb.org/v7794 http://vndb.org/v604 http://vndb.org/v551 http://vndb.org/v6747 http://vndb.org/v100 I can suggest these without hesitation. Only real warning about any of them is Konata yori Kanata Made, as it is an utsuge. Quote

Damonkala Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Now, I would suggest Wind: A Breath of Heart, its an eroge, and all routes are romantic, but all endings are pretty lame, just wanted to bring it up because it was different from the rest. Quote
