Cocoro@Function, any news?

So I have been wondering lately because it was 4 years ago that Gokurousama the translation team was going to translate the VN made by pulltop called "Cocoro@Function" I'm not sure how long translations take, I just want to see if there's any news about it. I really like to play it and I haven't seen any news from them and they're website is down, idk if it's just a problem with me but if you go and check they're website http://gokurousama.wordpress.com/2013/12/02/announcing-the-cocorofunction-fan-translation-project-3/ It says it's down. Is there any news on Cocoro@Function? I am very excited.

The translation is likely dead and since MoeNovel is translating Pulltop titles, odds are that nobody else will pick it up. For all I know, MoeNovel made Gokurousama quit.

Unless you're Yosuga no Sora or Amagami. Somehow, those projects aren't dead.

There are some partial scripts leftover from the project. MDZ finished one of the routes and I think common route is also TLed, so there's that.

Oh, I didn't know about this one actually. I knew about Cocoro project that was started by Dr. Kleiner back in the day, but this one seems to be by someone else? I managed to dig out from the wayback machine this: https://wayback.archive.org/web/20141018211613/http://gokurousama.wordpress.com/

I don't know who this is, but whoever it was, the project is surely 100% dead. @StrategyMasterz

Forget what I said, I didn't know about this blog before. Dr. Kleiner = Gokorousama. For a moment, I was confused whether there were two separate projects for Cocoro at the same time.

From what I remember, at first it was going well with the steady progress at Mina's route. Then after Mina's route finished (At 27% translated overall), the translator for that route (MDZ) quit the team and apparently nobody in Gokuro-sama have translating skill. So more or less the team can't do any further translation, and therefore the project as of now is dead because it's been inactive for a long time (Also the website is already dead). As for MDZ himself I think he was already have some real life business, so you can't ask him to continuing this - his blog was no longer available, but at least you can use Wayback Machine to read the blog content.

PS - While indeed that Pulltop was already joined localization business, I still think that the problem is more or less lies in lack of the translator from Gokuro-sama side after MDZ quit.

Thanks for all of your replies. I'm just sad that it didn't get continued. The VN looked very good to play, still thanks for sharing what you all know about this.
