Nosebleed Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 I have 3 VNs to finish so for now I'm pretty busy but I'd like to know any suggestions any of you might have that will be a great Visual Novel experience. I'm a sucker for adorable romance stories so i was looking for that type of VN, and i prefer highschool settings as well or at least a slice of life theme. My favorite type of heroines are Osananajimi heroines and Loli heroines. Just so you know it can be All Ages i don't care much for H-scenes. Anything you think is worth a try is really appreciated, only english translated ones though, my japanese skills are poor/non existent. My apologies for that fact. Thank you for any recommendations you might have, i'll greatily appreciate it. So far the novels i played/am playing: Little Busters! Hoshizora no Memoria Shuffle! Katawa Shoujo G-Senjou no Maou Canvas 2 SonoHana SonoHana 2 SonoHana 3 Cross Channel (playing) Katahane (playing) Steins;Gate (playing) Konosora (waiting for 2nd patch) Kassidy 1 Quote
Zakamutt Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Vague match that is also awesome: Symphonic Rain. Highschool setting, but story is of unusual caliber and characters are more complex than usual I guess . Also has osananajimi! Also, Kanon, possibly clannad. Quote
nohman Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 If you enjoyed G-Senjou no Maou, you might want to give Sharin no Kuni a try. It's not an adorable romance, but it's a good story. It also has a high-school setting and at least a couple of childhood friends. Quote
KnightFire Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Danganronpa is one of my favorites. Quote
shcboomer Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Give Grisaia no Kajitsu a try. I'm liking it so far. Quote
Stanleys Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Da Capo and Da Capo 2 are great. Both meet all your requests. Highschool setting, slice of life, an osananajimi heroine, a loli heroine, and translated. I have a few more if you are interested later. Quote
Kassidy Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 What about Nessa no Rakuen? No one has even tried to translate it as of yet - which im really surprised of. D: I just recently downloaded the game but because I am english I can't understand anything the game is telling me in the slightest. D: It's a boys love game, and its really really interesting from what I can see. I would absolutely adore you if you translated it. *_* The image displayed below is the game. Incase you wanted to see it. Quote

Actually i have been meaning to download Da Capo but i couldn't find it on Fuwanovel and on sites like nyaa and sukebei.nyaa they only have 1 or 2 seeds which would make the download take a long time that i'm not willing to wait for. Is there any other source that you might know of? Quote

I have been looking into Symphonic Rain and it seems pretty interesting although it has such a low resolution i guess i could give it a try in the near future. Thanks. Quote

Rutracker's VN section has pretty much every translated VN, including Da Capo, http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1404987 http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3338929 http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=321368 http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3334711 Quote
