adamstan Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 It looks like Steam's banhammer is on the loose again... Yotsunoha suddenly disappeared from my wishlist, and link https://store.steampowered.com/app/880150/Yotsunoha/ points to nowhere 畜生っ! At this point I'm seriously thinking about grabbing used PS2 version... Quote
kokoro Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 The PS2 version sucks. The new art is worse than the PC one, the text box is almost unreadable, and there's no map exploring. Quote
ChaosRaven Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Well, not exactly surprising to be honest. Just seeing those two Nekomiya loli twins with their very suggestive red elementary school backpacks made it somewhat clear to me why. Silvz 1 Quote

PC: PS2: That sucks, indeed It looks like low quality anime DVD rip... Edited May 10, 2019 by adamstan sanahtlig, kokoro and Kenshin_sama 3 Quote

Stormwolf Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Vndb shows what's obviously an elementary schooler with a lot of sexual tags. This is all on sol presses utter fucking stupidity for choosing something like this. Better luck next time if your company doesn't hinge on steam sales that is. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 In perhaps not as strong a wording, I do agree that this is among the poorest choices to make in titles to bring over to the West via Steam. Not all anime games with lolis make them look like such children, but this one pulls it off nicely. Plk_Lesiak and Dergonu 2 Quote
littleshogun Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 (edited) What I can say is that hopefully Sol Press would managed to resolve it in one way or another, in that hopefully they can sell it at their own store (Or they can depend on either Mangagamer or JAST store just like Nekonyan) so that we can finally play Yotsunoha. As for Steam, well they'd been fickle so far looking from their recent ban, so perhaps it would be for the best if the company depend less on them. Edited May 13, 2019 by littleshogun Quote
adamstan Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) So, Yotsunoha has been finally released, on SolPress' own shop: https://shop.solpress.co/collections/visual-novels/products/yotsunoha It's all-ages version, with free +18 patch available on pantypress.com (where all SolPress' +18 patches are) I'm glad that they retained all-ages version despite of it being rejected from Steam Edited July 13, 2019 by adamstan Quote
