ztrepzilius Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) I've search it on VNDB but I found few examples in English. The story mainly revolves around protagonists trying trial and error method until they escape more than one time loop like Groundhog Day. Edited June 1, 2019 by ztrepzilius Quote
adamstan Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Wouldn't middle part of YU-NO (between the prologue and true route) somehow qualify? Quote
Dreamysyu Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Here's a pretty good list of different media with time loops, and it includes several VN's (though this is actually a spoiler for some). VNs in this list: Spoiler Yu-No Higurashi Cross Channel Zanmataisei Demonbane Steins Gate Quote
Ramaladni Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) Ever heard of the anime movie "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time"? Well, here's The Virgin Who Leapt Through Time. It's pretty good actually. I'd recommend not reading the synopsis and not spoiling yourself. Don't look at the tags or the screenshots. Edited June 1, 2019 by Ramaladni Quote
Plk_Lesiak Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Maybe there's not that many VNs on that VNDB list, but if you didn't read Higurashi yet, that can keep you busy for a few months and is probably one of the best uses of the theme. One VN that wasn't listed there that I strongly recommend is SoulSet. Quite a neat EVN. 3 hours ago, Ramaladni said: Well, here's The Virgin Who Leapt Through Time. Wow... It seems that only after learning about this game and the existence of this tag I truly understood the depth of Japanese virgin fetish. ztrepzilius 1 Quote
VirginSmasher Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I would, but the two VNs I would recommend for this would just be spoiling that they have time loops. Quote

r0xm2n Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 VNs with some type of Time loop (I consider reincarnation loops too) (I also consider doing multiple playthroughs to unlock a True End, if characters have some sort of memory of doing so)... Spoiler Muv Luv & Muv Luv Alternative Chrono Clock Clannad Little Busters Island Quote
Inorin Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 (edited) The one that isn't a spoiler: - Steins Gate The ones that are spoilers: Spoiler Cross Channel Muv Luv Unlimited / Muv Luv Alternative (though it isn't the protagonist's will) Higurashi Demonbane Not a VN, but All You Need is Kill is also another piece of work involving time-loops. littleshogun Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 As for my recommendations, I'll go with both of I/O and Da Capo 3 here. I hope that my recommendations here will be helpful to you. PS - Since my recommendations here have spoiler, I decided to paint the recommendations in black. Quote
GXOALMD Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 (edited) (Spoilers) I assume that no one's suggested this on account of the fact that it's technically not a time loop, however as far as narrative structure is concerned it is effectively the same so I'm going to suggest it anyways: Zero Escape: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors . To a lesser extent, the sequels fit this as well. While I personally don't recommend the sequels, I know plenty of people do. Edited June 19, 2019 by GXOALMD Quote
