I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend a VN that is downright hilarious,

I have been away from the Vn scene for a while so i was wondering if anything came out that was funny recently

Sankaku Ren'ai Love Triangle Trouble

In terms of hilarious over the top comedy it's definitley on par with Edelweiss and MajiKoi's style so I highly recommend. Having the otaku characters makes it more relatable too.

I recommend the Grisaia trilogy, lots of really great comedy.

* +1 for Sankaku Ren'al as well. It's comedy is really, really good. Love the memes, genre savvy references and 4th wall breaks.

* Fureraba . Really light hearted and comedic.

* Princess Evangile . Lots of cute characters, and some comedic skits (I loved the random bouts of jealousy sometimes). Has a bit of drama.

* To Heart 2 . Highly recommended, it's a good read all around. Plenty of comedy, and a bit of drama.

* Grisaia no Kajitsu . Definitely has really great comedy (especially in the common route). It does though, have some pretty serious drama, and dark themes at times too....

* Little Busters! . Pretty good comedy, and the Battle Rankings during the common route can be fun (probably the most fun Common Route I've had). Being a KEY VN, it's known to pull on your heartstrings.

Ace Attorney series is quite funny, particularly if you like over the top facial expressions and character reactions.

I'll second Little Busters.

I'll also second Grisaia no Kajitsu, but if we're talking about comedy in Grisaia it'd be a shame to further neglect this title: https://vndb.org/v14973

The game that made me laugh the most is Clannad. All the sadness apart, the comedy is great in this VN, something that I don't think Key has ever achieved again in their other titles.

I'll go with +2 for both of Sukiren (aka Sankaku Renai) and Fureraba. While at it perhaps I can add some new recommendations such as Tsujidou, Dracu Riot, Sanoba Witch, Noble Works, and Daitoshokan. I hope my recommendations here will be helpful to you.

Lamunation when it gets released... that game has no purpose other than comedy.

Edit: Oh, and Nanairo Reincarnation is pretty funny when it isn't being sad or gloomy... but it isn't a comedy at heart.

Little Busters had me crying of laughter with some scenes.

Norn9 was quite funny too.

And like was said before, 9-nine Episode 2 had the funniest H-scene ever, it was hilarious.

I would have problem picking any "incredibly" funny...  Little Busters was fun, Ace Attorney trilogy made me smile a lot same as Grisaia trilogy. Nekopara is silly but that makes it adorably funny too...

 

Hmm that most insane humour was so far in The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart.

They are just striking every minute with harem humour, and it's not a cheap one. Still have to finish that VN though.

I can second fureraba, sanoba witch, tsujidou, dracu riot, daitoshokan and princess evangile.

For something that is more out there I had a lot of fun with kurukuru fanatic https://vndb.org/v1063 but that is more of a in bad taste parody of VNs and certainly not for everyone.

Also Danganronpa was a nice ride, with more gameplay elements it's also nice when you don't want to only read all the way through.
