Need help getting into visual novels

Hi ya, sorry if this is a waste of time but I've recently found myself enjoying visual novels as an escape from life.

I ended up playing through If My Heart Had Wings but couldn't find anything else to go to next. I'm looking for something that goes more on the line of wholesome romance and ignores any NTR, Rape, Uglybastard etc.

I have Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai on a list but not sure if it goes down that line. Any help is extremely appreciated.

Wholesome romance, and you liked IMHHW. Hmm... from the top of my head, maybe you would like Aokana, Princess Evangile, Sanoba Witch (english title "Sabbat of the witch")? Also, while they are not primarily focused on romance, I'd recommend trying out Key VNs, like Clannad or Little Busters. Recent Summer Pockets is very good as well. Their older titles - AIR and Kanon - also are good, but they might be more difficult to get, since they don't have official english releases.

if you don't care for english TL you can go for JP ones
personally I recommend:PrimalxHearts,Golden Marriage or Flyable Heart
for story focused you can try Grisaia Trilogy or Tsuriotsu series.

 Hoshi Ori  is all about romance,no NTR, rape, uglybastard etc ,i think you should give it a try,i really like it and recommend it.

I think it's pretty much most of translated VNs consist, in that there's no rape, NTR, and uglybastard. For the specific recommendations here, I guess I can recommend Da Capo trilogy, Dal Segno, Koiresort, and Fureraba. I hope my recommendations here will be helpful to you.

I definitely recommend Making Lovers and Fureraba, contains a lot of wholesome romance and offers a lot of comedic scenarios,

You can also try AnoHare or Farther Than the Blue Sky it has its similarities with IMHHW albeit this is one is all about making a rocket
