Sorry for the very belated response here. As for the answer of your question, well you can just directly play it in case you still didn't do that yet because there'll be a recap of the first game event in Blue Reflection 2. As for me, I did try it a bit only to find out that my laptop can't handle this smoothly, and I can say that the battle system along with the levelling system between this and the first game here are very different. Have fun playing Blue Reflection 2 there.
